Surge Valve Issues

Procharger Surge Valve Issues

Its a D1SC on a 96 cobra install and not sure where the surge valve hose goes need help!!!

Trying to figure out where exactly does the hose connects to on a procharger surge valve? manifold vacuum or ported vacuum? is it bad if it I keep it disconected???

its sounds like a ratle snake right now(it's disconnected)

mine goes to a vacuum tee which I believe goes to the intake

Vacuum tee from the back passenger side of the intake manifold..What you are hearing is blower surge and it is bad for the seals in the blower.

How many #'s of boost are you seeing? What size pulley?

The fluttering is probably because you have the stock bypass on the car. Fluttering sound usually means that the bypass can no longer handle the type of boost you are pushing. You want the vaccum source to be as close the the rear of the intake on the passenger side.

Then if you are venting your bypass and you hear a fluttering sound, either your bypass needs to be adjusted by the screw at the top, or you need a new bypass.

For a new bypass you would want something like the Procharger Red Race bypass or a vortech mondo bypass ect..

Look man I really don't wanna get into it with no one here I was just trying to get a quick answer if there was since I noticed a lot of people here running similar set ups! I suggest just ignore this post if its really bothering u and just keep on goin about ur day:shrug:
