Thanks David! As said b4, to get a true feel for the look of these wheels, i believe they should be seen in person. Might need to get you or Kevin to drive my car around so i can see how it looks rolling.
We will have to do that. I can ride shotgun in the Maurader and get some rolling shots while you drive your own car.

scaarew04SVT, Those wheels look sweet on your car. Thanks goes out to you and 04sleeper for taking the time to post them. Spring is not going to come soon enough for me.
Thanks. I enjoyed taking the pictures and wanted to get them up so everyone could see what they looked like.

Well the only difference is my car is not lowered, so I think a dd wheel in the rear may look a bit weird, any thoughts on that?

If I do it I may go with all four but see I currently have the afs 10.5" rears and they are a perfect match for the fronts I don't see why they can't get the wheel dimensions right on.

Thanks guys
Well, what happens is that becasue the factory spokes come out to the lip of he wheel, it makes the wheels "appear" to be bigger. By adding a lip, the only way to acheive this is by setting the spokes back in the rim thus making them smaller then they were. Also, there are only so many ways to get enough dish while still retaining enough material on the back of the rim for mounting.

It is very hard to pull all of this off and make it work all together. I think they did a GREAT job getting the dimensions the best that they could while acheiving the proper offset for the IRS Cobras and making a lighter wheel.

If they did make an 18 it would give the appearance of larger spokes and maybe make it "look" more like the factory wheel, but no matter what you do it will never be the same because you change the entire look of the wheel by adding the lip.

Also, most people wanted to have the option of just being able to buy the rears only so I am sure this is why the made these first.

I am just glad they got the offset PERFECT so there is no need for spacers with larger tires.

If they don't make 18's they are stupid there losing a large part of the market. I imagine it does not take to much to make these into 18's. I will reserve my praise for the look of these wheels until I see 18's.

It took almost 2 years to get these made at all, be grateful for that.

skaarew04SVT, how much did the set of 4 cost?

Look at the poll from this thread. Why are you surprised they started with 17's?

As of right now, it's 200 even for 17s totaled up for the various widths, and 181 for 18s. It's not like theres an overwhelming demand for 17s over 18s so hopefully they will roll out the big boys soon!

What springs are on the car? I might have missed it somewhere but would like to know before pulling the trigger.
