I have had my mut (Found him off the street as a puppy, unsure of his mix) since the 5th grade. I was roughly ten years old maybe? He was an old dog. A good one. Didn't seem to have an health problems other then the fact that he was up there in age and wasn't as active as he used to be. Well he was in his dog house last night just chillen but this morning when I awoke to go feed him breakfast he never awoke. So I'm glad and hope he passed quitely in his sleep.

Cheers you will be missed.:(

That sucks, I just lost my dog too, all I will say is do NOT take your pet to banfield vets if you value thier lives.

Sorry to hear of both of your loses. And I agree, Banfield is a terrible company/practice. I've only seem them inside of Petsmarts though.

OP-I lost my border collie the same exact way a few weeks ago. Went out before I went to work to feed him and found him dead. Kinda shocks you. You gonna get another dog?

Thanks everyone. Losing a childhood pet is bumming no doubt. But he was a great pet.

Eventually I'll pick up another pet but I'm going to give it some time for now. Also sorry for the other members that posted that also recently lost their pets.
