Wanted to know how fast my buddies Cayman S with exhaust is vs. my Stock Bullitt (315 hp). They matched up pretty well from 40ish to 95ish, but when you see the video you can see how aerodynamics and weight play a big roll when going faster.

Bullitt - stock / 3450 lbs about
Cayman S - exhaust / 2950 lbs about

I would've liked to see a stock vs stock race. I bet the exhaust on the Porsche made the difference there.

it looks like he was just messing with you... he pulled away pretty hard at the end.

really ? (seriously or just a joke ?)

if you look I let off so he doesn't smash the car in front of him at a 100+ mph

I let off just as his door goes past my bumper . . . .

Not too bad, I was suprised the Cayman S didnt pull harder then it did. I bet from a low 1st gear roll it would be a close race.

nice. We need more races of amercan cars vs german and other european cars. I'm kind of getting tired of ford vs chevy vs mopar.

I actually looked really hard at getting one of those about 5 months ago...

IMO, they look far better then just a 'hard topped Boxter' (that's really all they are...)

And, the used market is getting enough of em' at a decent price due to the leases folks would get and then immediately want to get out of.

What I was sold on was the handling was on another level obviously, and hey...it's a frickin' Porche dude!

I even spent some time in joining up to some applicable forums and found out that the money needed to get more power out of this car was unreal!!!

Let's just say that it's not easily modded and what you can do, costs huge money!

yeah, the car is really nice, we knew the race was going to be close, but him probably just edging me out on the top end due to aero and weight

being that the Bullitt only had about 10 more hp and 400+ more lbs, I think it went well . . .

and for the last time I LET OFF THE GAS WHEN HIS DOOR WAS AROUND MY FRONT BUMPER .........................................:poke::poke:
