Last night buddies took out an 06 GT with a new Zex kit on it, 100 shot.
Did some runs and decided to hit 5th full throttle, fouled #8 plug. Replaced it this morning and its still not running right. Part of the plug is missing, so could it be somewhere in the engine??

Any advice WILL help. Also, I've read numerous times never to hit an overdrive gear while spraying, I mentioned this to them after the fact, of course, cause I wasn't there while it happened. Is this true? and if so why not?

Everybody's pretty down right now, anyhting will help fellas.

Correct, they got giddy wanting to run it before the colder plugs came next week.

Was that the major part of the problem? Not running colder plugs?

Probally lifted a ring land. 5th gear pulls are not smart unless you have a good tune and a good motor.
I'd do a compression check b4 anything

There is also a good chance the piece of plug scored the cylinder wall. Watch the oil level now.

He better start getting the aftermarket parts off of it and get it fixed under warrenty.

That's what he's thinking.

It has a Predator on it, if we change the tune back to factory will the Dealership be able to tell??

And what will the oil level do?? Go down I assume??

The dealer will be able to tell usually.

Plus he is going to have a hole in his intake where he put the nitrous nozzle...

Probably broke apart the spark plug from the heat.

Tell him he probably just made a very expensive mistake.

Regardless, IMO your friend should be paying for it, its not the dealers fault he installed nitrous and was stupid with it (5th gear pulls, WTF?) and wasent running the right hardware.

Did you pull all the plugs out? And hes a retard for spraying on platinum plugs.

We sprayed a rental with 87 octane and a 150 shot. Plugs were platinum and it was fine. Thing is, short sprints. Spraying in 5th is asking for trouble. I heard a fuel pump should be added for anything over a 75 on 05 cars? Not sure if thats true. Im sure if you just sprayed in 5th only and started at a higher rpm you might be fine. Thing is they probably started in 2nd and hit it all the way up through 5th.

Forwarded thread to every ford dealership in Spokane/WA.

Your friend is a thief if he tries to bring it in for warranty work after removing all his mods and lying saying he does not know what happened.

Hopefully, the right people at Ford see this post and void your dumb friends warranty.

1. The block is already being torn down at a friends house to find/fix the problem.

2. It never was going to be stripped and turned in for warranty.

3. If he wanted to he STILL could turn it in as he knows 3 service techs, the service manager, and the parts manager personally, its not what you know its who you know buddy, someday you might learn that.

4. Thanks for your help in diagnosing the problem. Dumb Phuck.

All lies. Why would you write this in this same thread?

"That's what he's thinking.

:lol::lol:

Why would he care if the Dealership can tell he has a different tune on it if he has all these "Connections"

Forwarded again to every email address in every Ford Dealership i can find in your city.

Not a fan of Thieves.

Take care bud.
