Once again we will embark upon the University of Maryland on May 4th to show these car owners who is Boss. This Car Show, benefiting Martha’s Table, will be the 5th year running and serves as a tradition for the MACA.

This is a great time for the MACA to get together and help support a valuable cause. Martha’s Table, http://www.marthastable.org/ is on a mission to serve the needs of the less fortunate in the Washington, DC community through food, learning, healthy living, recreational and family support services.

College Park Tuning has assembled this event once again in search of One Dollar or a Can of Food to benefit the people supported by Martha’s Table. While the cost is relatively low I am asking that we go above and beyond those expectations by doubling our commitment to two dollars or two cans per car.

Over the past 5 years this show has grown considerably and as we learned last year our presence is required much earlier. Our arrival is needed by 10AM this year in order to secure premium parking for everyone. For cruise in we will gather once again at the rest area located on the South-bound side of 95 just South of Route 32, Exit 38. Plan to arrive at the rest area no later than 9:30. In order to ease the process of entry I will be collecting donations prior to our departure from the rest area. This way I can hand them the Million Dollars and we can all waltz in without everyone having to stop.

For those that have not attended in previous years this show brings on a very large variety of cars. Whether you look forward to seeing a Lambo or a AEM Intake on a Civic, this show has it all!

Please join us for an afternoon of fun and help the MACA support Martha’s Table.

I must say, Crimmins did an awesome job on the cobra in the flyer. That looks sick.

Awesome flyer! Do you we get VIP treatment this year? Are they going to have more food?

The flyer is great!!! Love how he works the dragstrip into the back of the picture.

We will be leaving a bit earlier this year and Tim is working on the parking arrangements for us. Plan will be similiar to last year in that we will meet at the rest stop but looking to beef up the cruise a bit more. More details will follow.....

No special treatment this year. We had problems organizing cars last year and caught a lot of flak for letting all you guys in before all the people in line. This year is going to be like this: if you want to park as a group, you better arrive as a group because we aren't reserving spots for anyone. We gotta be a lot more strict this year since we expect a huge number of cars like last year.

As for the food, hopefully we'll be able to get bigger grills like we had 2 years ago and possibly 2 food stations. Everyone always complains about the food, but the past 2 years, we've had way more people than we ever thought would come and we can't always get the grill space that we need to cook burgers and dogs fast enough. Remember, the food is technically free, so be happy we can't charge $3 for a burger lol.

I know the Tim's already have it planned out, but MACA needs to get there much earlier this year if they want to guarantee a good spot and park all together. :burnout:

As long as they don't mind me wearing University of Delaware Gear, I'll stop on down.

(That gives me over a month to get the car running... I HOPE so :( )

You will be tarred and feathered as soon as you enter the parking lot. Sorry.

Hmm.... Will I be able to have a burger and a cold one while tarred and feathered? This is a deal breaker.

The poster looks SICK too. Very well done.

How do you figure food was free. I had myself and the boys and ended up paying close to 30 bucks for 3 hot dogs and 3 drinks.

First of all, people were paying a dollar per item.

Second, that dollar is technically a 'charitable donation' since we aren't actually allowed to charge for food (heath dept. issue).

Seriously, I bought Chris lunch too. I was charged out the ass for food and drinks. I don't play around when talking about money, food or beer! Why would I bullshit you about this.

Well take it from us, pay a dollar per item this year, and if they complain, tell them to STFU and talk to me or Tim.
