If you had a choice between a 98 vorteched cobra, 96 procharged cobra, an 88 Twin Turbo GT, what would you take? All cars are less then 15,000.

It would depend on the mileage on each and who did the work on them. More info needed!

first that better be a very bad ass 88 for that kind of money. And like Jason said, depending on the mileage for the other two and if they have built motors or not, supporting mods for the blowers, and have been tuned properly!

Good luck.

At this point, my vote is none! And if you are considering buying a fox for well over 10k you must have a lot of cash laying around, because they are only going to give you a loan for about 1500 bucks on that 88. With that said ... internationally funded mutual fund till you find what you are really looking for!

I've never really been a fox guy so I voted for the 96 considering the pro charger has an inter cooler which is more efficient than the vortech aftercooler assuming the 98 even has one. That along with the fact that 98s tend to be more of an oddball year with their fuel system behind half pre 98 and half 99+

I'd go with either the 96 or 98, but only if they had a built motor.

the 88 GT is less then 10K with forged internals with a new 5.0 block.

96 cobra, full bolt ons, suspension, built rear

88 GT, twin turbos, fully forged bottom end, T-5 tranny (sux).....9500

98 with the Vortek. I've always heard that Prochargers are not as streetable and I may be wrong but definately go with one of the 98's, value being the main reason.

Looks like it may be either the 98 or 96 due to the fact that the owner of the 88GT does not have any inspection/exemption tags for the car. Besides, both the cobras are very local to me rather then 4-5 hrs west. I may have to re-nig on the 88.

So looks like the 98/96 are in the running.
