its at red river raceway above shreveport I doubt many here will want to come, long drive. It would be sweet to see more ppl there though. gates open at 3 test and tune starts at 4.

Well, I got my car back from Stang-Hi, and it dynoed at 480 rwhp 482lbs torque. I really like the feel. It makes my stomach weak. Cody also detailed my car, that was a welcome surprise. I was hoping for 500 rwhp, but Cody said he dynoed it at appox. 95 degree weather, and when the weather turned a little cooler, I would most likely be hitting 500 rwhp. I was really impressed with the knowledge this guy had. Oh well, that's the scoop.. Wish me luck. Later...................

Looks like you dynoed a touch under what I did. Although, I am running touch more boost than you are with my 3.1 upper and 6# lower. However, I too am under the 500 mark. The best we could pull from my was 492 hp/498 tq. I did learn though that my TB is only open about 75% at WOT, so I know I am missing a couple of horse there.

None the less..you should be happy with cody's work. He does do good work.

BTW...You car looked good when I saw it in the shop...coming from another redfire vert owner. :beer:

how bad was your bill. somebody told me they brought there car to cody and were quoted x amount and when time came to pay it was 400 higher. no extra work done. I was getting ready to go to cody in a week or so

My original estimate was between $2700.00 and $2900.00. I added a 2lb. lower pulley and Magnaflow catted x pipe, and Magnaflow Cat-back, and my total bill went to $5700.00. I think the exhaust was a little inflated, but I was so ready to get my car fixed, that I didn't argue or contest the bill at all. I was, however, happy with the results, and I know things are not cheap. I was charged $10.00 per quart for Royal Purple oil, (when you can buy it at a parts store for $6.00 or so a quart), but all in all I am satisfied with Cody and his work. I hope this helps................

I'd like to know what customer claimed that!!! We always give an exact estimate on work to be performed... Some estimates go higher because of mods not being correctly installed, or wrong combination... You may want to get the whole story before making a post claiming something that may be incorrect...We always go above and beyond to make sure everything is correct on the vehicle and the Customer is 100% satisfied...Cody

I add the price a bit higher but lower the labor...It's just the way I prefer to display it on the ticket...I will never argue that we are more expensive than other places...but the end result will be more than beneficial to the customers , I Guarantee it!!! We could all take the cars there. I do not want to take my car to some guy who claims to know the 4.6 or any Mustang engine and find out he is full of it. I heard of a place in Slidell, but for the life of me I cannot think of the name. Cody, where in BR are ya?

And...from the sounds of the interest Cody, sounds like 5-10 cars might could be put together to go on the dyno again... :idea:
