Hello guys and gals. I was wondering if someone could help me. I just purchased my 03 Cobra conv. last month. I am looking to make some mods to it and looking to spend between $4500 and $5000 and was wondering if I could get some suggestions. I still want a daily driveable car but want to up the horsepower on it. I already have the Magnaflow exhaust and a CAI. I know little about cars unfortunately and need some guidance from the gurus here. Thanks for your help and look forward to your suggestions.

The best way to spend 5k is on a kenne bell or whipple surcharger with supporting mods. You should be around 600 whp. You would have one of the ultimate street cars out there. Just make sure you get all the supporting mods to go with it and trust me you be glad that you bought it.

This is not a slam in anyway, but how can people still think a KB or Whipple with supporting mods is only going to be 4500- 5000 bucks. It's gonna cost you alot more than that especially getting the tune dialed in as well. You could come close I guess if you did ALL the labor yourself. I like the Ported blower idea better myself...lol

my opinion, if you want insane hp go with a KB or whipple, if your not looking for 600+ id say go with the ported blower and others listed above.

Well if i had 4500 i would probably by the 2.4 kb and wait to put it on untill i had the other supporting mods which if you want to do it the right way would be billet i-beam rods, cp pistons, return style fuel system, plasma booster, level 5 axel's, mj's brace, adjustable shocks, mm or nicks bushings in the rear,dr's, sfc's and i'm sure that i'm missing a few but thats on the list of things to do. Personaly i would just do what i did get a pulley and a tune and save your money untill you have enough to buy everything else.

We can do a Whipple, 60lb injectors w/adaptors, SCT maf, Focus Pumps and even tune it for less then $4700. This is with the GP price on the whipple.

Billetflow dropped the price to $165. Also, do the install yourself and you'll save a good chunk of change.

I'm with this guy. But I'd consider the Whipple instead of the KB. Either way, same concept.

Bro forget all the other jokers on this thread. This is a respectable company with a complete install.
Amazon is telling you 10s, baby. All the other mods pale to the amazon deal.
Your car willl run 10s and would be a great daily driver.
You dont even get your hands dirty! No tuning issues!!Over 600rwhp!!!!

Forget about the stinking clutch...wear it out and get a better one later!
We dont need no stinking clutches!!!
