That’s awesome man. Congratulations on retirement soon my friend. I remember the CTS-V now that you said that. Sounds like you’ve got a plan to have some good fun when it’s all said and done!
This is what I envision doing in my soon to be retirement @LS WUT .........build my Super Snake 1000, roll down the windows and listen to the tune of the exhaust and the screaming of a KB supercharger while doing this.......

and Highway 101 from cali all the way up the coast line.

One the best things I like about the Ngauge is the ability to add 2 analog inputs. I installed a MAP sensor a while back so monitoring or data logging vacuum/Boost is cool! Gonna wire in either a oil pressure or a I/C coolant temp sensor next to have an option to monitor or data log one of those inputs. YES.....im data log nerd......lol.......:geek:

I really want to add the map sensor to mine as well, I feel like my analog boost/vacuum gauge is fairly accurate but not perfect, it's probably the same one you have in your SS. I'd rather be able to log it so Lund can see how much PSI I'm actually making, I wish I could also read the actual oil temp as well.

Are you gonna have enough paid vacation days at work to take the time off to do that? Cause, like, um, you seem to work a lot:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Well.....I got rid of the CTS V coupe. Sporting my 2022 transit XL (Work/Company Van) right now till I put in my order this fall for a brand new 2023 F150 or 250. Not sure what I'm going with yet to tow the SS around to car events and shows. I'm retiring from Ford motor in 4 years my plan is to go around the country to car show/events and hopefully get a chance to personally meet some of you guys and actually track and enjoy the car. The car is going to go thru a complete upgrade soon.

Good your planning for the future. As someone that travels to events get the 250. Maybe even the 350. You will appreciate the chassis when traveling. And if you go distances overnight, you will want an enclosed trailer for safety and protection from weather. That 150 won't cut it.

Thanks for the info @tomshep Im definitely planning to reach out for some recommendations and advice on the Ford truck before I place my order this fall. I never owned a pickup truck, dont exactly know which trailer will be the best either. Got some homework to do for sure!

6.7 diesel right. How is the gas mileage on it? Diesel is the way to go for power/torque right? Like for towing heavy things around?

Like towing shit around and not knowing it’s back there. Literally set the cruise and drive with one hand.

I get about 14-15 mpg, but….I drive it like a teenager usually 80-100 on the highway and I’m lifted on 37’s. You could probably get 17-18 if you drove it like a regular person.

Nice, Clean underbody too! Are those 1-7/8"x 3" catted X Pipe set up by ARH or KOOKS? Dont recall the O2 bungs being right behind the Cats on x pipe on ARH but are on KOOKS Green setup. Also did you do a lower pulley or just upper pulley on your setup?

I daily mine.

Gas mileage....when I fill it up it says 596 till empty (I've tried hitting 600)
28 MPG on the interstate going 70-75
Fuel is probably cheaper here....but I increased my fuel expenditures by $35.00 in a month over a gas vehicle:sleep:

I just know that it WILL last longer than an F150 and it cost me about an extra $10k for a diesel over a eco boost or 5.0L F150

I also take into account safety. "The other driver" is getting worse, not better.
So you have to ask yourself, what's your life worth when you get on the road?
My wife and I should be fine in my big stock, F250 should something happen.

Had @SID297 never posted his F350 up for sale, I wouldn't have gotten the urge to spend money. Glad I did though

Is your 250 a gas engine?
