BBK catted-X. Very poor design, pipe hung down to low and was always dragging the ground.

Pro 5.0 shifter. Made the shifting very "notchy" and emitted terrible gear noise. Got rid of that and did an MGW handle and damn do I ever like it.

Does just the mgw handle make the shift throw any shorter or better? Thanks Eric

The only mod I regret is the UPR ORX. It's sitting in my garage with only 3hrs usage. That thing sounds absolutely horrible. Such a POS compared to my Bassani x-pipe.

from what i gather, it does:
---reduce the throws
---reduce the noise as well (the hoot's n howls the stock shifter console gives out)

HEADERS.. They leak, they do nothing for power, and were way to expensive to install and buy. Not worth the time or money.

It does reduce the throw because the handle length is adjustable (longer or shorter). The other big plus for me was the ability to adjust the handle closer to me. This is kind of hard to explain but ..... the shifter handle has a curve in the middle of it, besides being able to raise or lower the handle (longer or shorter) to can rotate the handle. This enables you to bring the shifter handle closer to you, which in my case eliminated the stretch for 5th and reverse.

Flowmaster mufflers. I put them on this spring and they were heavily rusted by September when I replaced them with the magnapacks, man I am WAY happier with magnaflow.

Air/Fuel ratio gauge - totally useless, and to top it off its broken. Some lights don't work, and some lights are stuck on.

Steeda shifter - the handle bolt kept coming out, which me to get a new bolt, which stripped the handle, which made me get the MGW handle. And I still couldn't hit shifts, so I got the MGW shifter. 1000 times better.

UPR chrome shifter bezel - It came drilled incorrectly, and after I removed the leather boot from the plastic I noticed it was incorrectly drilled, and that you didn't need to remove the leather boot. The piece was drilled in such a way that it was not possible to bolt it onto the plastic. Well I sure as hell wasn't gonne buy another one, so I glued and drilled the whole thing back together. It also didn't come with instructions, and the only help I could find online suggested removing the boot, but this was not for the UPR version. Last UPR thing I buy.

Steeda's pulley set up.... their tool snapped in my input shaft, making the install impossible. Weeks later, the pulley doesn't line up right, causing belt squeel. I had to disconnect the hoses to get it on... but now one is spraying fluid everywhere, making life a biztch. Worse yet, Steeda keeps giving me bad advice on the latest product, thier springs.... No more Steeda for me.

I regret buying Kenny Brown shock tower brace, strut tower brace and lower chassis brace.
The rear shock tower brace never fit properly and required grinding for it to fit over shock tower and the strut tower brace in unusable unless you buy KB caster camber plates.
Oh and one of my Steeda 4 bolt C/C plates has a loose bearing or something because there is a clunk noise coming from that corner of the car. Steeda didn't want to send me a new plate and I couldn't afford down time in the summer. They did however send me a new bearing but I still have to arange for a machine shop to press in the new one and get realigned. So all in all defective parts suck. Maybe I should just replace them with MMs.

The adjustable clutch quad & cable. Too much of a hassle. Kept having to readjust the knob as it didn't have a locking nut. There was not much of a difference in feel to me anyway.

I don't drag race much so I think the stock one is just fine for me. I like the clutch engaging close to the floor, anyway.

For nominal street action I think the stock unit is just fine. For you serious drag racers the adjustable setup may be the ticket for you.......
