Congratulations Jeff! Nice looking Mach 1. You enjoying it? Of course you are! Do you have a garage at your house? I noticed the carport in your photo. Or is the carport attached to the garage? Just curious because I know carports are popular down there.

Hey Bob, good to see you are still around on here. I spent a few years away with other interests. You have always been such a fixture on this site.

Just the carport at this time. Yes, my wife and I are enjoying it a little here and there. We were able to keep her 2016 GT so she is still driving that as a daily. The Mach 1 was a long time in the making. Tried to get a 2021 way back in October last year but all the HP orders got canceled. We had to wait a little longer. But it all worked out in the long run.

It was a big change for us. Most of our Mustangs over the past 20 years have been grey or silver. Jandi really liked the red. We looked at all of the 2021 colors in person last year as we could find Mach 1’s available in West Central Florida. It came down to Iconic Silver or Race Red. When we ordered it back in April the Race Red won.

We live on a bit of a hill. I had to wait to install the lower splitter until the base of our driveway could be modified. With the splitter installed the Mach 1 will now clear but you can’t roll a pencil under it on the way in.

Glad to hear you're doing well, Jeff. Carports in FL are a fixture, for sure. I'm sure you (and your wife) will enjoy putting occasional miles on that gorgeous Mach 1.

Any plans for mods? Or are you going to pretty much keep it stock. I'd probably do the latter if it was mine. Ford did a great job all around so there no real need to mess with it, unless you just had to have more power.

Thank you. The wheels were one of my favorite things about the car. My wife really wanted to do a set of 20 inch Piano Black Forge Stars like she has on her 16 GT. I talked her into leaving the Handling Pack wheels on there and she grew to like them.

Which forgerstars on the 2016? I have some on my car and love them.

We have already done a few things. You know how that goes : )

We changed out the Cup 2 tires at 108 miles for Michelin Sport 4S tires just to be safe in the Florida weather.

We tinted the windows as that is a must down here as well.

We added all of the loose ship items, front wheel moulding, front splitter, and the Gurney Flap. Verified the Adjustable Camber Plates we’re factory installed as some were held back.

We plan to do most of what was done on our 16, Steeda Cold Air, x pipe, and a Lund Tune. Probably leave it at that. Nothing that can’t be put back with a little effort.

Congrats on the Mach 1. Looks really good in Race Red.
I just placed an order for a 2023 Mach 1 Tremec, 700a w/Handling Package.
Picking the options was easy. Picking the color was extremely tough! They look good in so many colors, but in the end it was a toss up between Grabber Blue and Eruption Green... I went with Eruption Green.

 Finish is very durable and doesn't scratch easily is one that comes to mind.

I do like those wheels on the GT, Jeff.
