There is a good guy on here I have bought from before, he is clobbering the local Ford competition. Do yourself a favor and check with him. The GMC dealer I worked at and still know will order me a new GMC for MSRP and nothing less. A Ford dealer 80 miles away at least is trying.

13COBRA is the man to talk to.

So what did you get?

I am pondering a Platinum F-150 Crew 3.5 ecoboost. I am also looking at GM and Ram 3.0 crew turbodiesels.

I am not a fan of ordering and waiting when a trade is involved. When I bought my Mustang from him, he luckily was in range of the dealer in Kansas who had what I wanted and did a dealer trade for the car.

I really want to make a deal with someone who has what I want in stock, but that has proven a very difficult nut to crack.

Ford dealers near my house still has almost no trucks on the lot, I think I saw 3 this morning, while the GM and RAM dealers have something. Hopefully Ford can catchup by the end of the year.

Unless someone has the numbers I don't think what's on the lot is a good indicator of overall production. I believe Nick said previously that damned near every F150 produced at the moment was a customer order. if GM and Ram aren't getting as many customer orders than they'll get spec trucks for inventory

I have 1.

Ford's are just selling faster than the RAM and GMs.

cars.com is useless, the dealer inbound inventory autoloads and you call on it and it is already sold.

You likely have better access than googling, but do the manufactures put out how many units are sold in a month or quarter?

You can get monthly updates, but they're not final. The quarterly results on final.

I think those days are over for a bit. I will admit the Denali Ultimate is appealing but there's that whole GM makes shit thing. I'd go Platinum and get the 3.5 with the 36 gallon tank.
Look forward to the "pics" thread.

Dealer near me has a bunch of '22's on their lot but most of them are XLT's
Next door neighbor ordered a new Raptor from them at MSRP and it just came in a few weeks ago, not sure how that happened but its his 3rd one.

Well, it ended up being a good fight between my hometown Ram, Ford and Nick dealer. The customer service at the Ram dealer equaled Nick, which is to say, most excellent. I had lost my guy at the local Ford dealer, and they are running a newby crew, all the experienced old hands left during covid. I walked in and grabbed the first young guy I ran into and said, let's go sit and talk, LOL. He was on the ball and his sales manager wanted a deal. They had the advantage of not having to bring my new truck to me over Nick. No dealer knew what any other dealer was offering on trade, they had to win on price of new combined with trade.

I really really wanted to try out the Ram turbodiesel, but decided with the additional complexity and only a 4 year run with the motor and it being killed off after this year, not worth it. Also, my current 3.5 ecoboost has been the best truck I ever had, so decided not to fight persistence.

So, I did change up the truck a little bit, but was always comparing the deals apples to apples to be fair to the 3 dealers that stepped up to the plate. I also decided not to get the F-150 Hybrid. Just decided risk factors associated with the battery weren't worth it to get the bigger generator.

RAM dealers near me are offering 10k off MSRP on the 2022 Rebels. Very tempting. I may be going tonight to look at a few.
