I've been doing Fab Fords since 2005.

I'm sure I'll have a good time. The wife and I are making a road trip out of it. Plus I'll get to put faces to names of people I've been talking to for a long time.
That's one hell of a road trip. How much time are you allowing for the trip to and from? I guess if it was me and I could afford the time, I'd allow a week to and a week back, plus the time at Mustang Week. That would allow a good amount of sightseeing time. This last Myrtle Beach Mustang Week should be epic, and hopefully not adversely affected by the high fuel costs. You should have a great time overall! Take lots of pics!

I'm taking about 2.5 weeks off of work. She'll work some since she telecommutes all the time. We're planning on about 4 days to get out there. We're going to drive straight through basically. Then on the way back we're going to take some time and sight see a little.

Was def a long trip. I was stationed in San Diego and then drove my 11 5.0 to Charleston, SC for my next duty station. Started off pretty shitty. It was about 75 degrees on the beach and then 20 minutes into the trip got stuck in damn near a blizzard. Had to get the Mustang towed 5 miles down the mountain and took back off the following day. Texas is hella long around 800 miles. Fill up with gas as much as you can...some long stretches there between gas stations. That is if you go that way.

I’ll be heading down again this year but we’re just cruising kidless down in the wifes Highlander. I couldn’t bring myself to spend that much towing my car down or driving the Harley truck with the price of 93 lol..

We're taking the more northern route. I've been through Texas twice and don't want to do it again.

I’m planning to drive down early Saturday and then home later that night. I’d love to stay longer but work has me preoccupied

Despite everything going on the wife and I are still planning on making the trip. We just might not get to eat at all the fancy places because of the current price of diesel.

And I'll be bringing in some E85 since it seems MB doesn't like the corn.
Might be worth giving them a call. They were always the closest to MB and I've never tested them under 85%. However it's been a couple years since I've been there.

I was hoping to get my pulley and idlers swapped with a tune before, but the shop stopped taking new cars in last month until after mustang week. I’m on the list though, so that’s a plus

I may need to bum a quart of corn juice off of you for an article I have planned.

I wanna see some tiddies too!
LOL!

Parked at another house. The couple is friends with someone down the street that isn't currently using their house. So the trailer is tucked away over there.
That was really convenient. Awesome! Have a blast at MW.

How's the weather? Mid-90s up here. Brutal! I was at a local golf club for lunch today and a staff member came running in because a golfer passed out on one of the greens. Hope it's more comfortable down there.
