I know this has been a while but are those conical seals still holding. I just developed a leak from the female end of my return line out of the regulator. It’s coming out of the hole on the female swivel with those little ball bearings. Trying to fix without have to cut the line since it runs from there clear to my tank it may be to short if I cut it.

thats where al my fragola crap leaked. It's either not quite tight or a bad fitting.

I've got a few connections with conical seals for a few years now and no leaks. the PTFE hose might take a little doing to clean up the mesh weave but I have successfully replaced fittings on PTFE hose without having to cut it

If it's PTFE you can disassemble the fitting and remove it from the hose without cutting

Ok cool hopefully we will have success also. Are those conical seals a one time seal or can the fitting with the seal be taken on and off and reuse the same seal? The reason I ask is because this is the fitting I use when flushing fuel to change tunes.

theyre extremely thin aluminum, if it does work I'd probably buy a handful and replace them, I doubt they will hold up to multiple changes

Well dammit. I missed this thread entirely and have my Lethal budget plus kit sitting in a box ready to install here in a bit. So at the very least I should replace the fittings on the feed/return lines?

I assembled 2 of my own custom kits, all fragola. I make sure they are tight and never had any leaks. I run it on a lethal hat. I don’t know why you all have so much problems with the lethal of fragola stuff.

Did a budget kit in my friends car too, no issues.

Lube the o-rings with grease and don’t be a little girl, Tighten them up good and they are fine. This last go around I had all premade fragola lines made, swapped them onto the car. Again no leaks.

My Lethal kit has been great with no issues. I ordered the upgraded to the Fragola pre-made lines. When I first assembled the kit I had a couple leaks but that was because I didn't tighten the connections enough. The hat, rails, and lines all seem to be good quality.

the leak issues are from the Fragola hardware. I dont know if they just had some bad runs or its always hit or miss of what. When I was looking into this in the past it seems like all the kits were using Fragola lines/fittings so it wouldn't matter
I'd sell it and just spend the coin on Fore.
Last time I checked, been a few years, they too use Fragola

A drop or two of oil can help fully seat the fitting however defective fittings are simply that. I said something shitty about Fragola over on Yellow Bullet back when I was having issues and someone from Fragola DMed me. I ended up mailing them my entire kit back to be leak checked because they couldn't believe that many fittings were bad. After leak checking they apologized and sent me a whole new kit (pre made hoses for the Lethal system), that kit was fine.

Between lines assembled with the wrong fittings, lines that were the wrong length and fittings that leaked the failure rate was basically 50%. Again, Fragola verified all of this.

Ahh. First I’ve heard of it. Like I said, I assembled 2 sets, all custom lengths myself no issues. Just switched over to pre made PTFE lines from Fragola over the winter, no issues. My first set of lines was back in 2014 time frame. So maybe I was lucky I guess.

Well I installed two brand new fragola fittings one male and one female. The new ones leaked again so I put in a conical seal and it’s all good now. The rest of the kit had had zero issues and functions as it should with no leaks. It supports around 35 psi at idle and 50 or so at wot plenty enough to support 570 rwhp on e85!!

I went with Fore this time around.

The eBay lines and fittings I used in my 2V swapped fox body never leaked but I installed the fittings myself. I almost went with the Lethal but saw these threads.
