Do it! They're at least fun some of the time.Never driven in a vert before. Never wanted one and generally avoided them.
Now at age 41, i really do want a convertible Mustang to cruise around with wife and kiddos. I might get an Sn95 or newer however. I love the foxbody, but I think i need some diversity in my life.
I've only owned one convertible in my lifetime, and it definitely wasn't a Mustang. It was a 1968 Impala convertible almost identical to the one in the photo below. Same exterior color, with black interior, column shift and bench front seat. The engine was a 307 cu. in. V8 (200 bhp) which barely got that boat moving with the 2-speed Powerglide transmission. The family had occasional fun (kids loved it) with the top down but all in all, not a great owner's experience.
