Is the Ford Performance Handling pack worthwhile? Are there better options out there for an 09 GT500?

The ford performance handling package for the 07-09 gt500 are great. Night and day difference in handling.

Are there better options? Sure you can piece a kit together. But a complete kit that doesn't add NVH not likely.

Steeda has a few stages of handling kits for the GT 500. I have nearly all of Steeda suspension parts on my 2011, very high quality, great warranty and good people, all made in the USA.

I agree with the Ford Performance recommendations above.
My only other suggestions would have been Steeda or Maximum Motorsports.
Both can give some alternative options and utilize newer options that weren’t around 10yrs ago when Ford designed that kit.
What are your goals with the car?

I ain’t knocking the ford kit but I’ll play devils advocate:)

This is just 1 personal take… you’re on a budget (killer package and/or if you dont need much). Otherwise, you’re better off piecing it together while using bilstein b12 or Koni yellow shocks /struts.

In terms springs, it’s depending a lot on looks vs how your road conditions are. ;) I’ve always felt (personally) that the Ford kit still leaves a little bit of a rake Vs the Eibach kit lowers the back/ front a tad more aggressive. Probably gonna need either caster camber plates or at minimum caster camber bolts to get the alignment dial into spec.

As far as the bars goes, (again personally) feel that’s irrelevant (should be done to fine tune) vs 1 of the first things. Rather get the adj lca & ucr plus panhard bar done first and see how it shakes out.
