Lindsey Stirling was an amazing concert.

Disturbed puts on one hell of a show.

The Clark’s have never disappointed.

Chris Stapleton and The Brothers Osborne put on a hell of a show.

Five Finger Death Punch was terrible.

Godsmack’s only memorable quality was seeing the chick my buddy thought was ignoring him on the news the next morning due to the fact she apparently OD’d and nobody noticed for hours.

Rush, they basically did their set from Rush In Rio. Very grateful I got to see the Holy Trinity before Neil passed

Dave Matthews (always rained every year I saw them but that just made it better)

Slightly Stoopid 4 or 5 times. First time I saw them there were less than hundred people at the venue

Pepper, saw them in undergrad at school, followed them to another Uni for an encore show

Fishbone a few times (one of the greatest live bands I've ever seen, they put on an amazing show)

Expendables

Was supposed to see Tool on this tour but had a kiddo and that threw a wrench in the works. Still on my list

Bands I wish I could've seen:
Floyd
Zeppelin

Metallica always puts on a good show
Volbeat
Stone Sour
Chevelle

Terrible shows (most were part of larger concerts/events):
hell yeah
egypt central

honestly I'd say most shows I've been to were pretty damned good. 5FDP was decent other than the singer being a douche between songs.

Kid Rock - best concerts I’ve been too. The show, the quality, the music. Top notch.

FFDP - was pretty good, the mosh pits ruined it a bit for me.

All That Remains - Terrible, little to no action, and the sound was sometimes hard to hear. Yet the 2 other bands were clear as day.

Non-Point - put on a great show, especially for an opening band. A lot of action and hype.

Halestorm - lizzy Hale has serious talent and her vocals were just as good live as on the albums.

In This Moment - Pretty mediocre at best. Little to no stage action, vocals sounded so close to the album it seemed like lip synching.

Cheap Trick - Great show especially for their age, and I got to see them in Rockford where they are from.

Ted Nugent - Great outdoor concert, interactive with the crowd and had killer guitar riffs as expected.

Been to a few country concerts that I won’t give my biased opinion on because I hate country.

All in all any concert is usually a good time, can’t complain too much.

Linkin Park at Jones Beach was good. Chris Cornell was there too and came out for Crawling to do a duet. Crazy looking back. Atreyu performed too and bunch of other. Busta was a random addition when he was working with LP. Only downside was NO BOOSE!

I see Sevendust a lot, not my favorite band but performs at a local place often, I prefer small venues. They're always good.

All that remains and KSE was cool. Vocalist for KSE was sick and the Vocalist from ATR stepped in and covered the whole set. Was pretty cool.
Second ATR concert kinda sucked 2 hour "tech difficulties" pushed the show to end at 2AM on a Tuesday.

FFDP was kinda a let down due to weather and cutting the show short.

Tool is on the top of my all time bucket list. Tickets are usually hard to come by and $$$, they don't come to NY much. But from video looks like an amazing show and one of my favorites.

Sometime in 2005ish saw a band I never heard before 10 Years. Awesome set, energy, music. Loved it, they quickly became one of my favorite bands. Fast forward to 2017ish and had to walk away from the stage they were so bad. But I fault the venue and sound tech on that. Still though, sucks when one of your favorite band’s concert sucks.

Great performances:
Slipknot
Korn
Rob Zombie
Disturbed
Chevelle
Nothing More (not a huge fan of their music but they put on a great performance)
The Offspring (just saw them 2 weeks ago and it was still awesome)
Shinedown
Bush
Puddle of Mudd

Meh performances:
Seether
FFDP
Hell Yeah

I've been to Tool, but unfortunately can't tell if it was a good show or not. We went to Hooters for dinner right before and I had the endless wings. I ate way too much and was miserable during the whole show. I regret not being able to enjoy it thoroughly.

I saw Tesla and the Damn Yankees with Ted Nugent a long time ago and it was probably the best one I went to. Small venue but they both put on a hell of a show.
Metallica was always a good show.
Pantera was pretty good, saw them a couple of times at small shows, my buddy got handed the mic at one and got to sing along with Walk and that was an awesome time.

Jeff Beck at House of Blues in Vegas. I had VIP tickets and sat up in the balcony away from the crowd. It was like a private concert almost. Bartender up there too. Me and Jeff locked eyes and smiled and nodded at each other. He's such a wizard on the guitar.

Roger Waters The Wall. Great show.

Paul McCartney. A legendary musician

Metallica. Tight band

John Fogerty. I wasn't expecting much but turned out to be 3 great hours of hits and good music.

holy shit concert stories, here we go

First concert ever was Red Hot Chili Peppers, dad took me when I was 13? They put on an AWESOME show. Know who didnt? Mars Volta, is absolutely terrible live. It blew my mind that the same frontman could sound so good and yet so shit within a matter of minutes lol

Saw DJ Diesel / Shaq live at a rave club, and about watched Tanya get finger banged by some random drunk girl. Best part is the girl wasnt even aggressive about it, just like looked at me and goes 'watch this' and slides in on Tanya. Tanya immediately like shuts down / freezes, I pull her toward me laughing my ass off, she goes 'i got so scared' LOLOL Drunk girl goes 'sorry' and walks off into the crowd to try and lez out some more I guess?

Asking Alexandria, we've seen them twice. Amazing show first time. Second time we drive over an hour downtown, and are 10 minutes late. Only avaiable seats are directly behind a support pillar. Cant see shit. Tried for half an hour and ended up leaving.

Tanya bought me Kevin Gates concert tickets for my birthday. It was Kevin Gates / Snoop / Wiz, show played in an outside amphitheatre, and late into the night (was the goal). When the sun goes down, there seemed to be 2000 people in the arena, and drunk folks were constantly slamming into us on the lawn. Left 2 songs into Kevin Gates set. BUT WHAT I SAW WAS AWESOME.

Motionless in White, seen them twice live. They are FANTASTIC.

As I Lay Dying, fantastic live. I've seen them twice, once 15 years ago, and once last few years. Just as good now as I remember. Tim Lambesis is still ****ing huge.

Thrice-Seen them 4 or 5 times live and they are probably the best live performing band I have ever seen and heard.

As I lay Dying-Incredibly good live performance. Would like to see them again. It was during the "An Ocean Between Us' album.

August Burns Red-Saw them with As I Lay Dying and it was the first time I had heard ABR's music at all so it was a major surprise.

Underoath-Saw them live at least 3 times and they always put on a good set.

Thursday-First concert I went to was Thursday headlining, followed by Thrice, and then Coheed and Cambria as the opener which is funny considering how they blew up in popularity. That was an amazing show altogether.

Worst shows had to have been The Used with My Chemical Romance. Both lead singers sang "Under Pressure" together like Bowie and Freddy Mercury did and they ended up making out on stage for a moment and then Burt from The Used got down and licked the other guy's crotch. It was disgusting to say the least. That was at a festival so I wasn't there to see them. Modest Mouse was another one that really pissed me off. They would play a song and then stop playing and bullshit and smoke with each other on stage for a good 5-10min before playing another song. It was terrible.

Brand New-As much as I love their music they don't sound even close to album quality live and it just didnt sound that good. The upside was that they legit played their entire discography at the time which was I think 3 or 4 albums worth of music so it was a super long set. Thrice was up before them and they played an awesome set so overall it was a satisfying concert.

Seen dozens others if you count bands at Warped Tour and other festivals but those are the highlights. Dave Matthew's at the Gorge is a good time even though I don't love his music. Probably going to see them again this year and camp out with friends this time.

Also, I have to add Sigur Ros to the must see! Saw them at The Benaroya Hall symphony theater and it was an amazing show! They had a canopy draped over the ceiling and they projected images onto it as they played so it was like a whole visual and musical experience.

I've been to hundreds of shows, but some of the most notables for me are:

Tool
Iron Maiden
Alice Cooper
Trombone Shorty
A Perfect Circle
Puscifer
Pantera
Grateful Dead at Fenway Park
Deftones
Mighty Mighty Bosstones
Slipknot
Slayer
Nine Inch Nails
Cake
James Taylor at Tanglewood
Tom Petty

Very few bands actually put on a good show. At least, in my opinion anyway. I'm sure I'm forgetting a bunch more good ones too. I may edit my list later.
I've seen many of the bands other members have listed, and most I wouldn't call a great act on stage.

We saw Brand New maybe 4 years ago with Modest Mouse and they were both awesome. Thursday and Thrice put on awesome shows too. We saw Thursday a couple years ago play Full Collapse beginning to end. One of my favorite albums of all time and they killed it. We also saw Scary Kids Scaring Kids a couple times before the dude died, that was probably the highest energy show I’ve ever seen. I The Mighty (before they split up) and The Early November are also in my top 5 shows - amazing energy and they sound amazing

Seeing Turnpike Troubadors at Red Rocks tonight. Beyond excited, first time at the venue and I’m sure the show will be awesome since it’s their first time back

I was in college when the Beastie Boys hit the scene. I ****ing HATED them, but a few years later I saw them on one of the first Lollapalooza tours, and I think my feet are still crippled from all the joyous stomping we did.
