My neighbor has a 2019 with a Hellion twin snail setup which makes 1000 WHP at 10.5PSI. I'm a little leary of that much boost on a relatively high strung engine.....

Thoughts?

i mean its not gonna last lol

we did one when I was at injected, one of the first TT GT350s I think, made 800whp or something like that on low boost?

Customer turned it up, boom.

Got a sleeved motor making 1500whp or so last I heard.

Thanks for the response, yeah I'd be concerned about window'd engine block. I'd be happy with 800HP, but I think the modifications would diminish the value of the car, and it's $15K proposition to add turbos anyway.

I'd like a Predator engine jammed into a 350 engine bay, as I just can't stand the look of the GT500's gapping maw.

yeah you'd have to find the right buyer

totally against what the GT350 was invented for....i get it, imo Ford shoulda done the GT350 NA, while doing a TT version, for the 'R'

could go fast in a GT for much cheaper

and I understand what you're saying about the Predator, i lol'd at 'maw'

I think the whole purpose of the GT350 is the fact that a high strung NA motor capable of real track work. Once you start adding turbos and what not to it negates the purpose of the car, would rather buy a used Mustang GT and boost it, which is something I have contemplated actually.

Love the chassis, and the car rips pretty well at stock power levels. The problem is I'm at 7500' elevation. I'd probably be happy with E85/tune and headers - a shitload cheaper too...
