Worked til 1AM wrapping up the rear of the car. Butyl sound deadener and Foam insulation applied to most of the rear section from the door pillar back. I also installed a lot of jute insulation in the various cavities in the sheet metal for more insulation. This was quite a bit of work, look forward to the result

Cleaned up my interior panels and spent some time reinstalling with felt strips where the panels contact something.

My original carpet seemed faded and flat, so I ordered a new carpet for the back. Got the ACC hatch carpet with mass-backing in the Essex style cut. That should be here in a couple days.

Next up, sound deadener on the roof redo my headliner in the proper black Vinyl material

I ordered a gates RPM belt for this year's tune up.

Anyone have any experience of how tight to crank it?? Something about only 20-30% normal tension.

So is that like 20-30 ftlbs?? Instead of 100.

Yeah I'll probably do the same then. I feel torn that I need to kinda cut in the wire harness though.
Not with this kit I bought....

Yanked my entire interior out to install some sound deadening.

Work in progress as there is more to lay down. I need to weld in my SFC's before i do the main floor area. My plan is to Kilmat the entire floor, the roof and the doors. I also have some close cell foam sheets that will act as heat insulation as well. That will go on the roof and the trans tunnel, which gets hot as a mofo. There's also some stuff called EZ-cool which i might use to stuff inside all the various gaps in the rear panels and such as another layer of insulation.

Probably only adds another 20-30lbs of weight to the car. IMHO it will be worth it, and i'm hoping the foam on the tunnel cuts down on exhaust heat that I always feel cooking my leg in the summer.

My car is black interior and exterior with sunroof and hatch. It's essentially a greenhouse. I added AC back in, but anything i can do to keep heat out will be a bonus.

This is actually a fun project to do

I had to POR-15 the spare tire well, but that will be getting covered as well. For a spare tire, i'm going to have Weldcraft wheels cut one of my spare 98 Cobra wheels down to 6" wide so i can install a smaller 205/55/17 tire on it which should tuck better in my wheel well vs a full size tire. 98 Cobra wheels are unique in that the spokes clear a lot of the larger brake caliper setups like the Brembos and my C6 front calipers. The standard cobra 17" spare doesn't clear this.

Heat resistant tint on all windows 50% for the windshield. This will help a bunch if you haven’t don’t it yet. 3m makes some good stuff that dam near eliminates the heat coming through. It made the biggest difference out of all the heat shielding mat I laid down.

Well found something else out on the 90 vert that wasn't disclosed....I guess it's got disc brakes in the rear.

I'm not sure which brand they are yet. The rotors look very rusty and I don't see a proportional valve either.

Not necessarily a bad thing.

I'll be doing my new radiator install and tfi relocation kit probably this Saturday.
Did your original radiator go to crap? Looks like the radiator in our 90 vert isn't factory. Keep us posted on the TFI relocation kit.

I feel I should put a spare TFI module in every fox mustangs glovebox. But they really need to be tested first. I've had new motorcraft ones bad right out of the box. And I do have 1 new one. Not sure if it even works....

So I've heard. Never been to Texas, but always wanted to check it out. I have a fluidyne in the 90 coupe. Works great.

Those look like 93 Cobra style brakes, but with an offset bracket to use the original axles and retain proper track.

Of course, a wheel-off photo would be helpful for an more accurate ID
