Penticton BC for the airport which is about 30min from the track, about a 5 hour drive east from Vancouver. That looks like fun! What airport do you use to get to that track - it's a ways outside of Vancouver?
I assume you'd be driving that open-wheel car (Formula 3?) in your profile?

I know a guy who legitimately does.. one week he was at Area27, next the same cars in Dubai. You have a cargo plane for your cars or what?
Yup. If it flies or floats, rent rather than buy.apparently fedex transports vehicles by airplane. far cheaper than owning your own cargo plane.

In my case, the race team I work with has a semi they use for transport. Far less expensive then flying.

Still using the same team/truck you had at road Atlanta for AER event a few years back? That was a NICE setup!
That makes a lot of financial sense. Honestly, I've never even considered how you get your cars moved to various locations in the U.S. or around the world. Now I've got a clearer picture!Yup. If it flies or floats, rent rather than buy.

Much as I enjoy my ongoing reputation here for having infinite money, in practice I try not to waste it. I'd rather invest it - or do something nice for a friend - or both...That makes a lot of financial sense. Heh. That sort of message just comes with the territory. I probably get one every couple of days. Hint: if you haven't hung out with them them socially for 10+ years under circumstances unrelated to having money... probably not a friendThis guy could sure use your friendship
Agreed. That sounds like fun to me as well.I don't want Treynor's money, I just want an F1000 vs GT MK2 shootout...
What are your current Ford only vehicles in the stable ?
