We can manage it just fine.

What I can’t manage is my car falling on its face for five seconds.

You don’t know what you’re talking about.

If your car falls "on it's face for five seconds" in traffic you didn't/can't manage it. You managed to defeat your own argument in three short sentences, impressive.

In all fairness, if you can't control a street car when you go over a puddle.......
As mentioned, you totally missed the point. I tried to give you an example, but apparently it went over your head. Despite at least two other people agreeing with me you decided you needed to call me out for some reason. Which I don't understand why.

I could give you other examples, but you're just not worth it.

Tell me you’ve never driven in the rain in a terminator without telling me you’ve never driven in the rain… the car will break traction at 1/8th throttle; hell even my beater 4.6 2v f-150 at 1/4 throttle.

Keep digging that hole deeper; the factory traction control on a terminator is aggressive and will activate with relative ease. I daily’d my car for years and can say with ease that the trac control will activate if you turn hard enough out of a parking lot among many BS activations that I can recall off the top of my head… or hey how about when one of the wheels comes off the ground when entering a parking lot as California is filled with driveways that cause the trac control to activate… but do tell me how I don’t know how to drive and how I can’t handle my car.

There is simply no defense for the terminator's terrible traction control, hence being standard practice to disable it via tune for the past 20 years.
I think the traction control is awesome when used.

Thing that's confusing is you have to stay on pedal when it kicks in

ABS is also awesome..try stopping fast without it,,

Drive my buddy's 65 and it's like driving a truck. Not having these comforts

May be the case with stock power levels.

It’s still an archaic system that you’d expect on a Foxbody.

I rode in my brothers bone stock 03 and he was flooring it regularly without issue.

My car pulls harder in 3rd than his does in first. I see more boost with a quick blip of the throttle than he does at WOT. There’s no comparison. I probably never would’ve bought a Terminator had I rode in a stock one. It’s a turd.

When you get into the power range a lot of us have, you’re going to have regular wheel spin on the street. Driving through it is fine, having a bunch of flashing lights and no power is lame.

I'm not digging any hole. You can't control the rear tires, that on you.

There looks to be a couple for sale on Ebay for $250. Is this it? 2003-2004 Ford Mustang Cobra SVT DOHC 4.6L ABS Module Anti Lock Brake Hydroboost | eBay

There is some repair/rebuild for $150 too with a quick google search.
Sadly, even though it is marked as such, that unit is not compatible with the '03/'04 Cobra. That has been a huge part of the problem: those two year models used a module that was shared with no other vehicle. Even the size of the tubing and fittings are larger than most any other model Ford made.

I do appreciate you checking, though, thanks.

Follow up: I've sent them an e-mail asking for a clarification on this.

Did you check with white bear lake? It appears they might have it online.

As far as for passing an inspection. All that should matter is that you have functioning brakes. No noise when applied, and no red “BRAKE” light on. ABS system is not part of inspection. Even if the ABS light is on. This is how it’s done in NC anyway. I don’t see why it would be any different in TX. Also brakes/abs system is not part of emissions readiness monitors.

Or eBay has a few that look a bit weathered. This is the best I could find.
Tried them, and Tasca, and all the other big names. I ordered it, then got a note a few days later saying it was out of stock, and a refund.

If you ever get the chance drive a car with a stand alone with good traction control. Whole different ball game.

Sorry for messing up your thread, James.

Sorry I may have not been clear on traction control,

Our car has been in snow,
Driven on the beach and
Used on muddy dirt roads during rain storms,,
Without traction control car would have been stuck

I forget not many were every day drivers ,,

Maybe just Fords suck.

Even our fleet of F150s have a crappy system. Have to turn it off when off road in sand.
