I'm curious to hear about the low mileage garage queens others have. I currently have a 2013 Boss 302 and a 2015 Challenger Hellcat. Both have a little over 6k miles on them. I've only had them for a couple of years. Each car had about 3k miles when I bought them. I feel like I drive them a lot, but it's really only short trips 1-2 days a week in nice weather. Seems like a waste of money to have both, but every time I think about selling one or both I can't bring myself to do it. With the move to eliminate V8 manual transmission muscle cars just seems like I should hang onto them.

My 2003 Terminator has around 25,000 miles on it I think. I've had it for almost 18 years now. Most of the initial miles were put on the car in the first few years that I had it. Never driven in snow or on salty roads. It did see some rain a few times in the first 1-2 years that I had it but has not been out in the rain the past 16 years.

They are not all low mileage, but they are garage queens based on the amount I have driven them.

2003 Roush 380R Purchased as a demo car with 1200 miles on it in Nov 2002. Car has 7500 miles on it now. Equals 350 miles per year since I've owned it (19 years).

2003 SVT Cobra coupe. Purchased in Sep of 2007 with 27000 miles on it. Car has 46000 on it now, Equals 1,357 miles per year since I've owned it (14 years).

2003 SVT Cobra vert. Purchased Apr 2016 with 75000 miles on it. Car has 77000 miles on it now. Equals 400 miles per year since I've owned it (5 years).

My Roush and Vert barely get driven, but I do feel like my coupe gets some driving time during the year. I guess because it's my favorite car of all my "running" cars LOL.

I’ve had several “garage queens” older GTs & newer Shelby’s. Sold em (wish I kept em to resell them in this market though lol). One was supposed to be a show car and the other was setup for drag racing. Hated seeing them sit but in the same token I was scared to drive them because I didn’t wanna decrease the collectibility, break any parts, have any nicks or scratches. So now I’m just down to one that’s just a driver‘s car that I don’t have now time to drive but at least I’m not scared to get a scratch or a chip or put wear and tear on the motor.

Ive got cars I drive less that 100 miles in a year. Im totally fine with it. None of our collector cars get a lot of miles, also fine with it. Not thiinking of selling any of them, except in this market I wish I could, then buy them again later when things settle down.

I love garage queens. Keep them nice for me; I'll buy one later and drive it into the ground.
Lmao! There was another thread similar to this one. A guy in there said not driving your car is like saving your girlfriend for the next guy. That comment had me rolling.

My bike and my ranger are the current garage queens. With 3 separate shoulder surgeries-procedures in the past 4 years all done in the spring, it killed my riding abilities. My ranger needs a little fab work for wheelhop and power steering, and isn’t near as fun as the cobra

When I was younger, I would frown on the low mileage garage queen cars. I appreciate them much more today. I would never daily drive a special car in certain places. Sitting in constant traffic, having idiots door ding your car, having the car sit out in the elements most days of the week is for cars that are viewed as appliances. Taking out that special car on nice weekend days is something to really look forward to.

Geoff, Did you purchase your bike like that or did you have it painted? That paint job looks sweet!

Love that military plate too!

It’s a factory big dog color, I think it was called cesspool, or a sewage dump. Very much like the Mistichrome as it changes colors in the light, blue, green black centers purple and copper

My son has all the fairing stuff from your bike in the basement, that he picked up to flip. I assumed it was a cool repaint, not the factory. Really nice bike.

Oxford white has 19k miles, black has maybe 60k or so now. They live in the garage while I daily my 13 Shelby. I’ve got a tent sent up outside for the motorcycles too.
