I've been wanting to combine my print and electronic database for the 1995 Rs and finally got it done over the holiday.

128 cars in the database--some I have minimal notes, others I have pictures, modifications and factory documentation.

6 SCCA documented
1 NASA documented
10 IMSA documented
2 IMSA & SCCA documented
1 Burnt
1 Stolen
3 Scrapped
4 Wrecked Badly but Still Viable
Notable Owners: Bob Bondurant (sold), Jack Roush, Tom Shreiner, author (sold)

Some interesting observations from looking through notes are the surprising number of cars that have been modified for track use. Yes, there are still wrappers out there, but many of these cars were enjoyed! Lots of bolt-in rollbars, aluminum head swaps & cams and race seats. Some are extensively modified, to the point it would be difficult to bring them back to an original appearing R. A few blown and replaced motors.

If anyone wants information on a car I am glad to share what I have. If you would like to provide information to me on your vehicle or add to what I have, I welcome the data.

Mods, can you make this a sticky up top?

Tom

Notable owners - what about Jason Priestly and all the NASCAR drivers?

With the prices of late model mustangs finally rising these cars are starting to pop!

I have the front "pony" (emblem in front radiator opening) from Priestly's car. The 20 team took it after a Priestly crash. Things were VERY competitive.

I have the Rosie Diner car, #004, at that time the #003 car was for sale. He wanted more for the #003 and it had parts under it painted yellow. The hope is to wrap it back as the Joker car and get back to tracking it. Also have #170 I think, and just sold #249. The 95R was the first one I had seen. Just looked low and mean. I also used to do open tracks with a man named Frank in Portland Oregon, he raced a 93R and a 95R, he once told me the brakes on the 95R where to small so he would use the brakes of the cars around him. Was fun to watch him.
