I'm a recent victim of the supply chain crisis America can't seem to get itself out of!

Back in September, I crawled underneath my 2010 Raptor to change the oil and noticed grease all over the driver's side wheel well. Upon further investigation, I found the boot for the halfshaft was shredded allowing grease to escape. The next day, we dropped the truck off at a respected Ford repair center. Within two hours, the service manager called and gave me the diagnosis. He asked for permission to order the required parts, which I authorized and asked for an ETA. He said "we should have the parts in the next day or two and we'll have you going again by the end of the week."

Fast forward two months to the day later, I picked up my truck. What should have taken a week two fix in "normal times" took much longer. And mine is not the only story like this. Apparently, he's had an Escape up on the lift for almost three months waiting on transmission parts and he said they're having a very hard time getting oil filters, especially for diesel engines.

Come on America, we're better than this!

Russo...I would agree with your statement about our current President...it goes well beyond who's sitting in the White House. Brandon certainly isn't helping things, but we're now seeing why globalization and our decades' long reliance on cheap labor and raw materials from other countries is not such a good thing.

Brandon’s a puppet. The people behind the curtain have been working on this for decades. Right now they are executing their plan.

it goes well beyond our current president.. manufacturing in America has been on a steady decline since WW2..
Yes, it has. It would be interesting to see how Brandon would support moving manufacturing out of China and back to the United States. Oh wait, that would piss off Hunter.
