Rumor has it that production for the 2021 GT500's will end at the end of Nov. If you have a 2021 GT500 on order and it is not in production, contact your dealer and have him check the new scheduled build date, if it is later than the end of Nov, your order may be canceled. Keep in mind that this is the scheduled end date, so the date could change for the better or possibly worse. The chip shortage, possible supply shortages and cold weather could negatively impact scheduling.

There is hope for some of the CFTP cars that are scheduled for Dec, I read that Ford is trying to figure out a way to schedule them for an earlier date. So, don't give up on your order.

Is 11/29 the scheduled build day or week?

Week of 11/29. But as of 8a.m. this morning the status on the Ford tracking website changed to "in production" and for the first time I was able to pull up the window sticker

I can kind of relate to that order. Wise choices there.

If your car does not have a VIN or is scheduled for Dec and is not a CFTP car, I am afraid that your order will be cancelled. Ford is trying to get CFTP cars scheduled for Dec, moved to Nov.
A member, @speedi1098, on this forum just had his CFTP cars VIN sent to the plant for production and it was scheduled for Nov 29th.

I have a customer who work for Lincoln Motor Co. She's been helping me keep track of my vehicle since Feb when I put my deposit down . Yesterday she sent me an email with the latest info from internal Ford computers, I'm pasting the info she sent me ......

"The invoice is available (it was prepared on 10/27) – another good sign. The status shows “in production.” Another status screen shows “bucked,” which means that it’s about to go down the line. Production will start on 11/1 and will be done by 11/5. Eta at the dealership is 11/20."

So you maybe right with your info. But until the 'built' box is checked on the Ford vehicle tracking website anything is possible.

looks like a lot did
The above sounds like if they were legit allocations (not just a dealer making a sale and hoping for an allocation) then they’ll be pushed to 2022.
I haven’t talked to my Ford plant guys recently but I can ask for more info

Are order banks still on track to open Jan/Feb? A larger dealer group is now buying the dealer I had a verbal agreement with. They're known to charge outrageous markups and have screwed over another forum member in the last on a 500.

Looking for allocation elsewhere at this point.

Order banks don't open until Jan/Feb? I didn't realize it would be that late. I assumed maybe Nov/Dec. I working with a couple different dealers now on an order.

All the orders that do not have VINs have been cancelled and some of the scheduled cars with VINs that have not gone into production have or will be cancelled.

Contact your dealer and confirm cancellation and make sure that your order will be reordered for 2022.
