Want sure if this fit in the 2 door or 4 door forum so, I decided to put it here first. I had the opportunity to drive a Big Bend 4 door for 4 days while the Raptor was in the shop. I have an order for a 2 door Black Diamond that got pushed to 2022 and I am waiting for the order banks to open in order to get the order reset. Since the date of the order my situation has changed. It was going to be our secondary vehicle, but the wife blew up our Speed6 and we purchased a Mazda 3 Turbo PP and there is no way that she is now going to drive a Bronco or the Raptor on a regular basis. She loves the 3 and I get it, drove it to work today and it is a very well done car.

Thoughts on drive.

1. The layout of the interior is well done. I like the reach of items, gauge layout is easy to read and navigate.
2. V6 is great. That sucker pulls a good sized vehicle with ease and I averaged 21.5 mpg for the 4 days.
3. The handling and feel is very good for what it is. I was very surprised here.
4. The mirror whistle is unbearable and I cannot imagine how the engineers missed this. It is nuts and you cannot drive it with the windows down.
5. I hate the 4 door, but the nostalgia is there!!

My changes to the order.

1. I am going V6 as I think the 4 will be overworked. I know you can mod it, but I think in WV, the uphill and downhill would not be fun for the 4.
2. I am going full comfort and lux. My Raptor is laid out this way and there is no way I can live with a primary vehicle that is sparce anymore. Prob Outer Banks and Sqauch.
3. The Raptor just turned 60k and it is possible I would trade for the perfect Bronco, but it would not be for long. The F150 is simply a far superior platform and vehicle for my needs. I love the infatuation with the Bronco as it is gorgeous, but I suspect that I will simply try to flip it and make some cash.

I can’t never understand why Americans buy foreign cars. I guess I’m just a dinosaur

Because a lot of companies put out better cars than "american" cars. Hell half of them are more american than the cars supposed to be american. Don't get me wrong I still love vehicles from the big 3 but sometimes the competition is putting out a better product than them.

Well I want an AWD fun small car. Tell me what you would buy American that fits that? My best hope for American was a used Focus RS and that was quite a risk and I am not sure it even meets the true definition of American.

I know I was just pulling everybody’s chains. Perfect example is my Trailhawk, it says made in the US but now owned by Stellantis.

The Bronco surely is a nice looking ride. I've only seen a couple of them around here, but it definitely gets my attention. Thanks for the comments on your loaner. My wife was thinking about a Bronco to replace here Hyundai Kona, but she instead went with a 2021 Acura TLX.

I honestly think that 2 feet of snow is the only time she will not be happy with the decision. The TLX is a very well done car.

She likes it, although it's wider and longer than the 2020 TLX. She'd prefer the size of the Honda Accord.
