"one of the Bronco special edition vehicles that will be available in 2022"
Curious what the "other" special edition Bronco's will offer.....

Also watching to see how many Bronco special edition parts filter down to the Ranger, since they're sharing the same platform

A 3.0 will be pretty much what the doctor ordered. A lot of Bronco fans are going to get excited about the Bronco Raptor package.

I didn't say customers, I said Bronco fans. It's a forgone conclusion that availability will be limited.

Also, regarding the 3.0 motor that Sid mentioned in his post, I found this on Fox News....."The Ford Authority insider website has reported that the Bronco Raptor could come powered by a version of the the 400 hp turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 currently featured in the Ford Explorer ST."

I'm hoping for the manual trans. I'd like a front Torsen and Ext Cab options for the Tremor too.

In all honesty, with the Maverick on the way I wouldn't be surprised to see Ford drop the Ranger in order to free up more production capacity for Bronco.

Then a lot are going to be pissed when they realize they won't be readily available.

Want to put an order for one for me in the system?

Im guessing more than likely it'll still have the same tranny with the same crappy calibration. Still, the 3.0 on the Bronco will be nice and ton of fun

Manual and 5.0 is better.
Agreed 100%(Hell a 5.0 manual Ranger would be a dream truck for me!!)

Unfortunately the Getrag 7MTI550 is only rated for 406lb-ft....BUT! I have seen it rumored it is "scalable" up to 590lb-ft....so I suppose its theoretically possible.(I'm assuming thats why rumors exist that the 2.7 could get the manual at some point, but Ford would need to see a strong sales with the current 2.3 trucks to justify it)
