Hey guys, man I haven't messed with the car in years but retired from the military and thinking of spicing it up a little. My question is, what would be my best bang for my buck on a new blower. KB, whipple, maybe something out there I never even heard of? Would perfer to keep the fuel system as factory as possible (my previous car had those loud aeromotive systems and don't want that). I don't race anymore, but honest having 500 rwhp isn't much it seems these days. I'm doing some searching as well but just seeing what folks say. All that is done to her now is a ported and pullied eaton, basic bolt ons, factory fuel system, and has a nitrous system but to hard to get up here and getting too damn expensive. Any input would be appreciated.

If you want to keep it simple go with a 2.3/2.4 sized blower. 500 will be easy to hit with rom to grow.

I'm at 500 how with the eaton, think I could be in that 650 world with maybe a boost a pump or I would even be up to dropping the tank and putting fuel pumps in now if the rest of the system could take it? I appreciate the response.

There's vendors on the forum like Beefcakeracing, or Lethal Performance. I'd ask the turnaround before you order anything, I think whipple is out 8+ weeks on blowers.

I recently put a 2.9 Whipple, 80lb injectors, and twin 340lph fuel pumps in. The differene from an Eaton to now is dramatic to say the least.
Tbh, Whipple, KB, TVS will all kick your pants. If all you’re doing is weekend cruising with the occasional F U on the throttle, you’ll be satisfied with any of the above mentioned

I'd skip the BAP and upgrade the pumps themselves. They're old and possibly living on borrowed time. Even GT pumps should get you around 600.

Be absolutely certain to get a firm commitment on a ship date for the blower.

So with that what kind of power did you make? Did you have to do anything with the lines or anything else? I'd be good with installing new pumps in the tank and injectors but kind of wanted to stay away from all the lines and rails and all that. I imagine it would be smarter to go with a bigger blower and can always run less boost ah? The car maybe get 3-5 hundred miles a year now but don't want it rough, want it smooth on the streets, all that jazz. I see some of them say with factory Throttle body and some say aftermarket, I suppose if a guy does all that just smart to put in a accufab or something right away?

I saw 18psi with a standard inlet whipple 2.9. Made 617rwhp on a conservative tune. Drives like stock until I put my foot in it. I drive it to work on nice days and deal with traffic with no issues.

I even let my son take it to a meet a few weeks ago.
