that’s the most “lightning” new gen truck I have seen. That hood needs paint, bro.

lmao

those just give me a case of the boner...

those wheels, side steps and bed rails NEED to go. Absolutely hate to see Jeep’s with G-homie wheelz yo!

Not a fan of mine?

**** man, tough spot.... can’t say I am.... sorry bro. I will say that I too have owned such style wheels in the past...

On the plus side, they are at least more at home on regular trucks than legit off road rigs.
Tuff Crowd. What about my new rims and tires?

Fastest I’ve ever gotten to a deer stand was in one of these. Asked my buddy if the Baja mode was actually worth a shit…he looks at me with a kneegrow please look while switching modes and punches it.

Now, we’re rolling 4 deep and myself and another buddy are in the back seat. This MF’er is doing 110 down a ****ing goat trail and rapidly approaching a 90 degree turn. He didn’t let up till the last second, and I just knew we were gonna flip this bitch several times and die. He did take out a couple mesquite bushes in the process.

Let’s just say I was very impressed, even though I almost shit myself.

My problem is not being in control when doing shit your pants events. Did the sand dune excursion in Dubai and I thought I was gonna die for about 2 hours straight. It's like a roller coaster than never ends...lol.

agreed. My cousin and I went on a Hummer tour out in Utah, since we were the only ones that came out to that early morning tour he took us places they can't really go with a whole truck load (it's been a long time but I wanna say their H1s were stretched for a couple extra rows). Us with no experience in places like that seemed sketchy AF.

Agreed. If I’m gonna die doing some crazy shit, I wanna be the one in control!

Only other time I thought I was gonna die was in the back seat of a buddies cobra with his father in law (whom I didn’t know was a professional driver) behind the wheel. We were again doing about 120 on some side street in a shit hole part of Dallas and his ass is headed straight towards a bridge embankment. I’m back there looking at this rapidly approaching wall of concrete like hey…Hey…HEY!! To this day I can’t figure out how he did it, but he slammed on the brakes with MAYBE 200’ to spare, down shifted, and fishtailed that car around all in what seemed like a second.

They both knew they were gonna scare the shit out of me and were laughing hysterically. ****ers.

How would you compare the overall (road) ride in the Ranger compared to your F-150?
I personally feel as though my F-150 had a better ride. The Ranger, while comfortable on the road, does ride a little on the rigid/stiff side.

*Edit* I didn't see Sid's comment until after I posted mine. I believe his assessment is spot on.

Wow, what a difference? How much detailing work did you have to do?

I like the wheel choice!

Thanks Bob!

I did a bunch of hand polishing and that made it look way better. It wasn’t till I got the “detail” guy from my work to give it a good buff to get it looking like that. If I would have gotten a true detail professional to color sand and buff it, it would come out so much better. I say “detail guy” because I work at a new car dealership and they do an alright job, they don’t spend hours on a car like this truck needs vs a new car with good paint to begin with.

I got lucky finding those wheel covers! They’re my favorite for that period on these Ford trucks.

I have other pics that I tried to upload but they’re to big apparently.
