Good evening!
Im looking to buy a Titanic Heat Exchanger for my 2014 GT500.
Im trying to find a single individual who has tackled the install before I order.
Any Unicorns out there?

(Pic for Attention)
Thanks so much
Rob

I am no fluid dynamics engineer by any means, but what I have gathered from people that have thought upgrading their HE multiple times to whatever the newest best flavor is that tried them all, said they saw no difference between the major guys (CR/VMP/AFCO)
Personally I think the money is better spent with a better IC core and bigger lines. Take my opinion with a grain of salt though.

That being said, Jason has given some really great sounding data from a science standpoint, but not sure one was actually tested on a car yet and driving and datalogged doing car things.
This is not a knock in any measure, just something I have not seen that I would want to.

I ordered mine I think about a year ago and got it in last week. It's a nice piece; I haven't installed it yet though. I don't think you have to hack much to install it on a 13-14 GT500. That said, it's massive. If you want to take full advantage of it, you need the J2Fab mod (or a Biggun), bigger lines, and a better pump. I don't think the competition is anywhere close.

He has a super single that may be a better choice, if not upgrading lines and such.

Looks like a work of art. Please, please take some data logs and get some IAT2 averages before and after the install. Thanks in advance!

Any reports back on how is this option performing? I will be in the market to upgrade my cooling system.

If you want to get hyper technical, DOB's suggestion of using the beefy rad fan to draw air through the HE is the way to go... Now if you're not trying to go custom ham on your car, I see the net positive of running fans on a street/strip application is greater than focusing strictly on the "on load" efficiency like we are grudge racing or chasing some net 0 loss on all our mods. That all being said, I think a VMP triple pass is a net gain, even with the loss of fans. Like others have pointed out, they're awesome for staying cooling in stop and go, or staging/waiting for a lane at an event. Can you do better with an ice tank, monster pump, upgraded lines, and a gigantic HE? Yes. Will it be practical for your full bolton e85 stock bottom weekend car? Prob not.

If you fence in your radiator and H/E you will improve airflow thru everything without an added fan. The existing radiator fan will be pulling 100% air from the grille and thru each unit, not pulling some air from around the sides that wants to take a path of less resistance. At speed air is forced thru everything too, also not leaking around the sides. H/E, Radiator, Oil cooler, and anything else you've got in there will be more effective.

Also most of all of us here would have the common goal of performance in mind. Light to light stop provides or validates any performance.

If anybody is in traffic constantly that’s a fault when taking GT500s. I don’t even take my car out during busy summer just to avoid traffic.

Lastly, those 10-15 degrees the added fan might keep down is just at the moment. As soon as you hit speed the HE is doing the job with the added air flow hence the point DOB makes that it will hinder more having fans at high speed.
