I was wondering would it be beneficial to add aftermarket front and rear sway bars. I added the k-member brace last year, end result I want the cobra to handle better. Or am I just overthinking things

What mods have you done so far, what year Cobra and what is your intended use of this car?

96 cobra- suspension mods are basic. lowering springs, new bushings front to back, MM K member brace, subframe connectors, stifflers jacking rails(not installed), rear shock brace, CC plates, steeda bump steer kit, front sway bar endlinks, SOLID AXLE PINION SNUBBER
And I forgetting some things

Want a good handling car for the street and mountains

Not sure if this is something that will interest you. But swapping to a 99-04 cobra IRS would be a huge gain in handling. Especially after doing a bushing kit on it.

Since we are on the subject of handling. Would a Seat Belt Harness Bar help or that is just for show ?

No experience with that item. That said, I would guess the Harness Bar would be needed if you were running aftermarket belts and/or aftermarket seats. I don't dislike the OEM seats, but they do not offer much support for hard cornering. Hence, an aftermarket seat would be considered a handling upgrade for the driver, as you currently have to depend on hanging on to the steering wheel and bracing your knees during hard cornering.
