My daily is a 2018 WRX.. I want to get something new, I was waiting for the new STi to come out but it’s been delayed and I am growing impatient..

I need something with 4 doors, it’s easier with my young ones. I’d like to stay under $45k if possible. I’m not up to date on all the new cars and what’s out there, anything that has 4 doors and fun to drive I am interested in.

Right now I’m just looking at the STi and a Chrysler 300 w/ 5.7L... I know different cars, but like I said, just need 4 doors and other then that, I am open to any and all suggestions.

if your suggestion is over the price limit that’s fine, shoot it out there, I’ll spend more for the right car.

thanks for any ideas...

I have 3 kids and now that the youngest is out of boosters and we take the wife’s van 95% of the time the 5 of us drive together, I’ve been thinking I could get away with a 2-door DD with a manual trans.
My point is, do you really need 4 doors?
I rocked a ‘16 Hellcat Charger as a true daily for 3 years, from drag radials to snow tires and back.
I loved the Charger as a DD.
Just throwing it out there.
Good luck.

My kids are 8 and 5, so I probably don't NEED 4 doors, but it makes life easier. I don't know, we have a SUV as well... but I only drive my car.. I don't know, now you have me thinking. I've been watching the Scat Pack videos and I am liking them.

Mach-E. There. I said it.

In all seriousness though, I like the scat pack idea. Co-worker of mine has a widebody scat pack and that thing is sweet. You can still find some low mileage nice example Focus RS models out there, golf R, I'm sure there are a couple audi models in that price range that would fit the bill as well.

I would rather walk until my feet fell off.

I have tow children 10 and 7 and have DD’d an Infiniti for the last several years and love them. First one was a 2013 M37X, probably the best factory stereo ever and scooted out well especially in sport mode. Unloaded that and got into a Q70 5.6L and it’s easily the nicest car I’ve owned. Both get driven hard, maintained well without a single issue over 100k miles.

That said I would also consider a new/newer Genesis or Lexus as well.

I was coming in here to suggest exactly this.

The GT AWD is well within your budget, even brand new, and they're decently tunable from what I've read.
Love my Stinger.
GT2 AWD. In sport mode it moves TF out.

Or the Genesis G-70, which is what I have. Best car I've ever owned. High quality components, , excellent handling, and superior performance from my 3.3 liter twin-turbo. If your budget is tight you can opt for the 2.0 liter sinflwe-turbo engine but you'll drop from 365hp to 252hp. With either engine, the platform is solid. I love my G-70 3.3TT Sport. I like the refined styling (inside and exterior) over the Stinger or Stinger GT, but there is one advantage the Stinger has over the G-70. A larger rear seat due to the car being a hatchback vs. tradition trunk. But the G-70 has 1.4" more front seat headroom over the Stinger.

My vote is for an 18+ f150 4x4 with the 5.0. Guys are going mid 12s with bolt-ons and a tune. With a supercrew cab you can haul the family around and still haul ass LOL
