That's insane. Wonder how that happened.

Hard to watch.

But I’m willing to bet if you can afford to own a car like that to begin I doubt the loss is going to break the bank.

I posted a bunch of pictures Sunday in the Random pic thread. This was about an hour south of me. Here's what the gas pump looked like.

My guesses:

1) British cars, not known for having good wiring.

2) Woman driver, thought the exhaust pipes was the gas filler.

3) None of the above, it's TRUMP'S FAULT!!

Saw this one in the Pics forum, but this video has all the details. Looking at the charred gas pump, it's amazing there wasn't an explosion. Maybe newer pumps have fire safe-guards? I know of a gas station not far from me that experienced a similar car fire maybe 20-25 years ago. One or more fuel pumps exploded pretty much destroying the station.

This car was sold new from my work. Traded in after ~150 miles to dealership in Florida and this was the second owner. Story we got was guy was out driving the car, pulled into gas station with car piping hot and left running while he got gas. These cars throw off some serious heat even just idling for a bit.

Too bad, car was absolutely beautiful and highly specced

this always kills me - guy is somehow smart enough to afford the car yet too ****ing stupid to turn it off while fueling
