Took it out for a grocery run to stater brothers, grabbed some pics really quick while I was at it.

Seeing someone mention our local grocery store always blows my mind, since it’s an IE store they really aren’t anywhere else but SoCal/IE. Nice mystichrome BTW.
Edit: I think the one that tops staters is Bakers. People I met in BCT from LA had never heard of Bakers, they are a better in and out and started out in the IE.

Installed a Whipple Tensioner at lunch, no one needs to see my plain dirty engine bay so no pics. Had to bump the tension up to ~75% to get my 78" Conti Gatorback belt to stop chirping. Hopefully the rain this week will be enough to wash the salt off the roads so I can see if the belt chirp is gone when heatsoaked.

Also ordered a 78" RPM belt for $65 shipped from THMotorsports, that was a helluva deal so hopefully its not a scam.

Picked up the MM IRS grip package to add with the MM Full length subframe connectors and the FR Diff cover.

Thanks, Bob. I wish the rotors could stay this clean forever. Lol

13or 14” kit? The easiest way to keeping the rotors looking good is to keep water off the discs. Once water hits I coated-untreated iron then the rust begins and the only cleanup is a red scotch rite pad and elbow grease. It looks gorgeous, hope you like the performance after bedding them in

I received and opened up my Gen 5 Whipple only 3 and a 1/2 weeks after ordering. I was like a kid on Christmas looking through all the parts that were included with it :)

One question I have for those who’ve went with the Gen 5 is what throttle body did you go with and why?
When I ordered from Lethal it was listed as the 150 mm TB and the one I received per my check off list is the 132 mm.
Trying to figure out if it’s worth exchanging or not. I’m looking for 900+ rwhp and my build is a 10.5:1 Aluminator with ported heads and cams and pretty much upgraded everything. I’m using the MS3 Pro for engine management on E85 and everything is backed up with a Lentech 4r70w and a solid axle rear end.

If it makes a difference my Cobra is still a street car and will see a lot of street use as well as quite a bit of 1/4 mile track time. It is still full weight with power everything and AC.
Are there any drivability issues with the 150 mm verses the 132 mm? What power level does the 150 mm start being needed instead of the 132 mm?

Thanks
Ken

Drove the car to Jacksonville yesterday for the Jacksonville Mustang Club car show. It was an all Ford car show, with a majority of the cars Mustangs.

I registered my car and it was judged via MCA style judging. My car got a gold which was a point score of 192-200 total points. I was very happy, first time I’ve ever won a trophy at a car show. Very cool!!

Lots of very nice cars there, my wife and I had a great day, although we’re hurting from a bit of sun burn today. Well worth it though. Here are a few pics of my car from the day.

To my surprise View attachment 1698510 mine was the only one there. There was a Cobra R though! A few 99-2001 cobras as well
I’m always curious to know how many terminators are at large shows, thx for the reply. You should have slapped the owner of that R for installing those ghetto ass headlights.

It hasn't seen the rollers. I've done all my tuning on the street. But talking with some local guys I should be about 680 with the tune I have in it. I have a smaller pulley on the shelf waiting to go on.
That's a darned respectable power level for your setup. Nice!!

Goocher, you've got one awesome Cobra, and I can see how you scored big points with the judging. Congrats! Glad you and your wife had a good time at the Show.

Your might not have a Terminator, but that is a great looking GT convertible, sir! VERY nice!

Thanks Bob, it was a really great day. Beautiful outside, only downfall was hitting a downpour on the way back, but just means I can detail the car again :)

@Stage 4.6, that's going on your '04 Cobra? If so, you're not happy with your KB 2.6? Just curious.

Numbers wise, what are you now hoping for?
