Has anyone noticed how high the c7zr1 values have gone up the last 6 months?

several low mile m7 cars are near 200k and average miles are going for 150-180 range.

speculation is 250-270 range similar to the gen 1 Ford gt.

no idea where any of this is going but boy am I happy. Lol. If someone offered me 200k in a few months I’d sell. Ha.

curious on everyone’s thoughts.

here’s a few examples from my local dealer...

Used 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 For Sale ($155,800) | Chicago Motor Cars Stock #18105

Used 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 3ZR Coupe 1200HP MONSTER! 9 SEC CAR! For Sale ($179,800) | Chicago Motor Cars Stock #18049

Same with the Viper ACRs.
That said, Chicago Motor Cars is always more expensive than everyone else.
MILES make a big difference.

My Viper is way up as well. Seems to be worth more than original MSRP now, but I only have 2,377 miles on the car.

Also, I just traded my '16 ATS-V for a Tesla. A week ago I found my former ATS-V for sale in NC, on Autotrader.
One of those One Price/No Haggle Dealers. 47K!!! Tesla gave me a little over 33K for it on trade, which I was satisfied with.

Thing is, MSRP was $72,700, but I purchased it as a Brand New Leftover,,, for $49,900 back in May '17.

Less than one week it was sold!

Used Car market is crazy high right now. IMO, Better off buying a new car for the time being.

Everything is crazy high right now. Standard Gen V Vipers are selling for $100k. I sold my TA for $115k and like 1 month later it looks like it could sell for $130k. Housing, cars, stocks...everything is in the stratosphere price wise. The pendulum swings both ways. The larger the amplitude in one direction, the larger the magnitude in the opposite. It will reverse its swing at some point, but who knows when.

I've been c6 ZR1 shopping... big spike there too.. from mid 50s into 60s straight line back to mid 70s
Been shopping for one for years. Was actually ready to buy this year. When prices went up I decided on a new GT350 instead.

Everything is wild. I’m kicking myself for not buying a GenV viper sooner. I watch that market heavily as I had planned to buy next year. With in the groups they think values will stay high, I have a feeling in the next year or two we’ll see a dip pending on trim model and miles.

I occasionally watch the ZR1 as well and it seems with no surprise the market is treating them well.

You nailed it on your timing. I was looking this time last year and there were plenty around at ~130k or so. They are tough to find and prices are jacked. Same with C7Zs which I am looking at as well.

Strangely Zl1 1LEs seemed to have remained stable which has piqued my interest.

Yep. Crazy part is the original owner paid 10k below msrp. I’ve never experienced this with a car so I’m curious how long I ride the wave before selling. Feels like GameStop stock. Lololol.

Personally I would dump it before the C8z comes out as I think a lot of these are going to hit the market then.

The ZL1 1LE is a great car and very hard to beat. I am sure if GM truly does kill off the Camaro again, it will continue holding its value. I have been looking at buying one recently.

Every decent car is silly right now. Last years C7z that was $55k-$65k is $75-$85k. And don't even get me started on 911's. I

Yep. Not the time to buy cars or homes.

The amount of first time AirBNB users is unreal.

I can think of one reason. Stimmy checks.
