Any Comp Orange out there? Coupe or vert doesn’t matter. Doesn’t have to be perfect but will pay up for one that is. Currently have a gt350 I could work in or a 71 F100. Budget around $35k.

Do you guys think his 26k mile CO Terminator is worth 40g? Seems a bit excessive to me but maybe there are fewer of these cars to go around, idk?

yea, thats the one, after reading comments he seems pretty firm on that price.
From what he said, 25+ people say they want it, but that's still a lot of money to drop on a terminator.

It's definitely overpriced IMO, 32k would be more realistic. But if he waits long enough someone might buy it, I think if the car was stock and no front licence plate bracket it might get 40k.

I fully agree.

I have a CO coupe I’ll trade straight up for your GT350 lol. In all seriousness, good luck in your search, they are becoming harder to find.

I bought a CO coupe with 3300 miles for $40k, so yes the guy is on some strong narcotics. The FB group is made up of current owners who love to over inflate the values of these cars. It’s causing a bunch of average cars to get listed for stupid money. Everyone then chimes in on what a steal the car is. But they sit which tells me something. The guy says he has people lined up but it’s still for sale.

There is a buyer for everything but I don't see a modified / front plate car bringing that kind of money with 26k miles.

I think his car is worth high 20’s to low 30s. If the car was near stock with low miles than I can see it being worth more.

I agree. It seems like market is money grab for sellers because they know that there are guys itching to get back in one. I’m going to wait till the prices tank again and then buy it at a decent price. I’m waiting for guys to regret their purchase paying over market value for ragged out terminator.

^ I would personally be interested in the car if it was priced in the 28-30k range. I miss mine all the time.

It will sell very fast at that price!

Yep! Every once in a while you see decent ones priced fairly.

I’m with you on hating the front plate and all, but why would it hurt the value more than say $800? You can always fill the holes and get a good body shop to repaint it. I realize it’s then not “original paint” on the bumper, but the bumper isn’t a big deal really. It’s the one part (besides the hood) that gets assaulted by rock chips and debris anyhow.

I just did this to my car and it came to less than $620. It looks brand new, so I'd never let front bumper holes be a deterrent for a car I wanted. I'd think you could work that cost into the selling price?

The price is for a very low mile stock car and can't simply deduct $800 from the asking. Additionally, while something relatively easy there are plenty of people out there that don't want to risk the bumper looking different than the 17yo body paint while paying that premium price.
