I got the call last week to join a group of friends to head to Oklahoma to shoot some pigs. We were on Reba McEntire's ranch, which was baller AF. Combined it is 19k acres in Chokie Oklahoma. The guy that runs it married the daughter of Reba's sister and spends his days spending her money on ATVs, guns and farm equipment. They have a ton of pigs and deer. I am not sure what he charges for deer but we paid $700 for 2 pigs each and 4 days stay in a nice lodge. I prefer hunting pigs with dogs (pits > argies @ZYBORG !!!!!) but smacked this one with a 30.06. I blew out her shoulder and lungs and she still made it 200 yards. Goddam they are tough.

“This is a lovely room of death!”

Impressive wall, are those all from that property?

They are. Nice racks but small bodied IMO. I am used to MN/WI deer which are much larger than what they have down there.

The border between the ceiling and the wall was bordered by head mounts. The second floor had the same thing. I figured he had +$100k in taxidermy on deer alone. He had elk, wolf, giraffe, ram, a bunch of goats, alligator, wallabee (LOL) etc etc. as well.

no, he ghosted me. The money was going to the site so he screwed the site over. A bunch of the guys chipped in to cover his ass so in the end it worked out for Sid.

Pretty ****ing embarrassing that the guy was on “my side”... All internet kidding aside, **** him. Hope the money was worth losing ALL respect from ALL parties.

What a punk.

That's cool.

So much fun to watch Pigman and others on the Outdoor/Sportsman channel knock 'em down. It's on my bucket list.

An old friend of mine hunted pigs often. He used a revolver. I always wanted to take a trip with him but it never worked out. Sadly, he passed about 5 years ago. I miss him. And I miss the times we did have out there in the wood.

Why so much for pig's are they not a problem in Oklahoma or was that just for lodging? I'm just used to south Texas where ranchers let you hunt for free or a cheap rate like a 100 bucks and kill as many as you want.

Big difference in the accommodations, experience and scenery.
