I don't own a Cobra but I inherited this Mad Enterprise
In the next week or two John Mehovitz of Accufab Racing will start building it a new engine based on a 2005 Ford GT aluminum block. It'll keep the Navigator heads, recently reworked by Fox Lake Racing, and the Whipple 2.3.

As far as other cars go, last November I sold my 2015 Cayman in anticipation of flying to Bowling Green in June to pick up my new C8 Corvette.

65 Plymouth GTX with a worked 440. Or 65 Ford Galaxie 500XL.
Mid 60’s cars are my favorite. I love the lines.
But still, my favorite car is a Foxbody Coupe. That’s where my heart keeps bringing me back.

After seeing this 2021 Lotus Evora GT in Scott's detailing thread, it is right up there on the top of my WISH list.

In addition to the Fords we have, Ive traditionally always had a "grown up" hot rod, started with Audi S4's, then on to 3 M3's (more edgy and enjoyable than the "touring" style of the S4's). Recently traded in the latest M3 for a M2CS. ALL of them were manuals. Only driven it 100 miles so far (got it in mid January, but its winter here), but initial impressions are positive. 444 HP and it weighs 3500 lbs (wet, near full tank, I weighed it).

Anything with a motor is cool with me.

This reminds me of something a salesman said to me when I showed my enthusiasm for all things car.

He said Roy Roger's said that he never met a horse he didn't like. You're like him except that you never met a car you didn't like.

I think I could find something to like about any car.

Having said that...any C5 Corvette or 2010-2011 synergy green Camaro SS with hockey stick or black stripes.

All good stuff. The actual car that I held the longest and was a blast to own was an 86 SVO. It was like a little go kart and with minimum things as simple as turning the boost up and a good breathing exhaust it was pretty darn fast at that time. Turbos and supercharges are fun to me, but they always seem to break at some point.

So true..I had an 87 Dodge Shadow (2.2T Daytona essentially), until the block cracked at 100,123...I remember it well.
No more Chryslers for me.

That car pissed off a lot of folks though... ;-)

Ok, if we're talking old school muscle. Here are my top 4 WANTS.

1965 Tri-Power GTO (the one I've always wanted). I used to own a 1965 dark blue LeMans with a 326 engine. Our first car. Very nice but it wasn't a bruiser 389 Tri-Power beast that the GTO was.

There's a bunch of others, mostly Fords. Those 3 are probably in my top 5 though.
Pops had a 68 amx with the 390. Heard lots of stories about that one

There are too many for me to name on my non mustang wishlist. All the American classics, jag e type, Ferrari 458, multiple generations of vettes, and on and on and on

1/ mkiv Supra hardtop manual single turbo. These cars have to be one of the sweetest sounding cars between the exhaust, bov, turbo spool, 2 step, etc.
2/ ford gt 04-06

The '68 AMXs were really nice. I remember when they were launched. A 2-seater from American Motors was big news. My favorite AMC was the 1970 Rebel Machine. Not many made and I never saw one in the wild, but it was one bad-ass looking car back then. As was a SC/Rambler. Both with the big block 390.

Next car for me will be a gen 2 through gen 4 viper. I’d love to find a blue with white stripe 96-97 gts but those are getting expensive quick right now.

After that my dad has a few cars I’ll likely inherit that will need work but they are also the dream cars to put together (‘70 barracuda vert among others).

CTS-V2 sedan will likely be the next car I purchase. It will serve DD duty ahead of the truck and Cherokee. That won't happen until I find a new house with more space though. Pretty much out of room with the current fleet.
