I started picking up SQQQ puts towards the end of the day today. Gonna be watching the price action tomorrow to see how deep I can go on them. Made 85% on my SQQQ calls today.

Anyone looked into Rolls Royce Aircraft Engine company? Looks like their stocks plummeted due to Covid. Trading around 1.50 and used to be between 10-15 bucks consistently. I feel like it may be a good opportunity to buy some. Thoughts?

i know nothing of it, but i picked up BA when covid hit and it has returned well. i was afraid of some of the airline/aircraft stuff going under, still kind of am, but the military needs BA. are those engines in anything used by the govt?

Shorties and the anti-shorties duking it out again. AMC probably just covid trading.

Koss stock surging 50% premarket; GameStop, AMC also jumping
  • Koss (NASDAQ:KOSS) is surging in volatile trading premarket, indicating another Reddit name squeeze may be on the cards after recent runs in GameStop (NYSE:GME) and AMC (NYSE:AMC).
  • Koss was up as much at 70% before the bell and is now up 50%.
  • GameStop is up 15% premarket. It is up more than 400% since the first squeeze shakeout where shares settled down around $45.
  • AMC, up 10%, is looking to make it three-straight double-digit gains ahead of its earnings report after the bell today.
  • GameStop and AMC have fundamental reasons behind the latest moves as well.
  • GameStop bulls are enthused by Chewy.com founder Ryan Cohen's closer involvement with the company's shift to e-commerce.
  • And Los Angeles movie theaters could be open within a week.
  • The sharp spike in Koss, though, brings back echoes of the squeeze moves. Short interest in Koss is still around 25%. It could also be a gamma squeeze, where big buying of short-date, out-of-the-money call options drive prices quickly up.
  • Retail trading volumes are close to matching the volumes of hedge funds and mutual funds combined.

Nothing really good about the story there, Gonna be a tough hole to dig out of. Hard to see Britain letting it fail, but don't see a big upside either.

yeah I don’t see Rolls Royce failing snd it can only go up from there. I see minimum doubling investment there. I mean the stock hovered around 10 bucks plus and it’s at 1.50 now... it should pay off something

I'm not seeing the 10 dollars anywhere in the last 10 years. RYCEF And that 10 year trend line is not friendly.

Koss stock jumping 100%, GameStop tops $300, AMC higher (update)
  • Koss shares are gaining more momentum in midday trading, up 110%.
  • GameStop is up 34% and AMC is up 12%, despite Lightshed Partners slapping a price target of $0.01 on shares, saying the company's future is very much in doubt.
  • Discussion on Reddit's WallStreetBets board is still very much focused on GME. There are a few threads on AMC, but little discussion of KOSS today.

I bought 3000 shares of Rolls Royce, RYCEY, @ $1.53, I'm up a little over $300. If it continues to climb I'll buy another 2000 but no more than that.

When air travel regains more traffic it will see more demand for engines and engine parts.

Seems like a reasonable amount of money to speculate with on one stock. Interesting how the home UK versus ADR version differ.

Seeking alpha and ameritrade are not displaying the same chart for the same stock ???? Hmm

look at the RSI and MACD. if you don't know the terms, learn it. Very very critical if you are looking at short term.

MVIS is looking good today, currently up 17% to $17.40

My brother seems to think they'll be acquired between now and July. We'll see. My positions are at $16.40 and $17.11 so currently in the black.

DISCLAIMER: He also thought/thinks Foresight FRSX is a good buy, but I'm down 24% on it. Maybe it's just on sale right now.
