damn, mine was starting to get a little sloppy but not that bad. How the hell do you "properly" install one? When the engine builder put mine back together they ran it on with the ARP bolt but the pan was off and we could verify it was seated.
Use this tool to install the balancer, not the bolt to pull it on otherwise you could be dealing with the situation I was. Fortunately with an ARP thread chaser and a tap holder socket tool, I was able to make the threads good again.

Just seat the balancer all the way in, torque the bolt to 100 ft/lbs and use red loctite.

Great numbers! I bet it rolls out HARD now.
It's turned down about 5lbs from dyno and has a pretty soft ramp in it, but yeah it's pretty wild on the street. Roads are still pretty cold and sandy here, so hard to get a good smooth run in.

@badcobra how much boost did it take to get there?

Curious how long you can beat on it and it'll hold together. I know you'll use it.
Took 37lbs to get there and I'm hoping it holds together for a good long while! It makes more power at less boost than it ever has, the 6870's are so badass. In 2019 with the 6766's, it made 1346 on 34lbs. Now it makes over 1450 on 32lbs. The biggest differences there is the work done on the cylinder heads, new turbos and intercooler. How's your car coming along? My brother said you haven't picked your engine up yet lol.

Yeah, I've paid for it though. That's the important part right? I am going to get it shipped within the next month.

I am guessing 1200-1300 is where I'll end up on the 6466s. Maybe it'll read higher because it's still through the T56. I haven't done all the intercooler and piping work like you have though.

I'm still waiting for the next update with twin 7675s 10,000 rpm and 2000rwhp :)
I can see 7675's in my future someday, but I'm hoping to be happy with this setup for a good few years lol. I haven't had enough time to even enjoy this go round yet.

I gotcha. Man that’s a stout motor and car you have there!
Thanks man!

It's a pretty basic build and not o-ringed.

Manley 14518 I beam rods
Gibtec billet pistons, coated

How much static compression at that boost?
I’m finishing my Coyote build with Holbrook and we’ve been discussing compression.
I’ll be running quality E85-90

That’s extremely impressive man. Keep killing it!

Truly is. Lots of quality prep involved, but the J. Mihovitz plan and strength of the stock head/block/crank is undeniable to this day.

Yea exactly. Pretty much the same setup I have, except I have a fully prepped block minus the billet caps (which isn't totally needed) and a little less compression.. Guess in a few years I'll throw some twin 68-72's on it and make 1800rwhp ahahaha

It's some flat top pistons and the heads have been milled a little bit. I think we've calculated it to 10.9x something. I run pump e85
