Thanks man. It's gonna go a lot faster when I get serious about it. It's never been a drag race car, mostly street/roll race. Not gonna go crazy on the drag race stuff, but should be able to get it going faster. It's sad, an 8.82 used to be fast but not anymore lol.

I’m curious if you have ever ran Your car on the Dyno to simulate a roll race to see exactly what power the traction control is allowing to be put down and where in the powerband?
I realize every street will be different but curious to see if it’s helpful getting things dialed in? I know they can run a quarter mile drag race simulation.

You can't simulate street conditions on the dyno. We can get it dialed in on the street pretty fast though, it's all in how fast you can bring the power in. Just need a couple logs to make the adjustments.

Nice to see you get the car running and make some passes. Hopefully you have a ez fix and are ready to run in the spring.

Do you run the Davis TC or the poor mans TC in the holley?
I guess you'd call it poor mans, but it really is better than Davis. The way my tuner does it, no one else in the country is doing it the same way. Wheel speed sensors front and rear, but the magic is how it's set up in the tune.

Thanks, I'm going to switch to a hall-affect crank sensor and see if that fixes it up.

I dont care what anyone says, 8s are still moving. I get what you mean though. Friend of mine has a stick car that runs 8s and he is way off pace of the "fast guys". Love the car and cant wait to see it turned up on the track!

Is it something he sets up once and its done or can you change it for conditions?

You can adjust how much slip between front and rear wheel speed. You can also easily change how fast you bring boost in as well.
I'm hoping to be messing with this by Christmas. I can't control the boost though. So I guess we'll see how it works out.

If you have a boost controller, you can control boost. It works best when it's controlled via Holley, but when we first got it working I still had my eboost2 and it worked pretty great using boost vs time.

I'm running a Whipple. No boost controller for me. I have the MS3 in my car so that's what I'll be going through. The second speed sensor is already installed. Just need to deal with the main speed sensor and I can start playing. I'll probably have it cut timing for my set up.

Last year had some issues with breakup and a bad RPM trace. We traced the issue down to a faulty trigger wheel with a whittled out keyway. Reason being was for years I've pulled the balancer on with the bolt instead of a proper balancer install tool. That ended up messing up the bolt and some threads on the crank. I was able to chase the threads on the crank and bought a billet trigger wheel. All is good now and laid down just some stupid power. This thing is a real handful on the street, boost comes on so hard and just sets you back in the seat.

damn, mine was starting to get a little sloppy but not that bad. How the hell do you "properly" install one? When the engine builder put mine back together they ran it on with the ARP bolt but the pan was off and we could verify it was seated.
