Several years ago i took over the family farm while my parents were still alive, they lived there and paid the taxes until they both passed away ( my dad 2 years ago and my mother back in june). Me intentions all along were to build there...well he we go!
Gonna be 40x52, full insulation, heat, bar and fun fun shit

Looks like an awesome piece of land. That building size should be pretty good mines a little skinnier at 32 feet. What type of insulation you going with? People try talking me into spray foam but I can't pull the trigger on that price tag. Also are you going post frame or traditional

Nice place, love the view.
The old house looks like a bar/poker room to me!

Really nice plot of land there. The solitude and quiet must be intoxicating. I can imagine a large sunroom facing those mountains with lots of windows. I'd probably sit there for hours just taking it all it. Our oldest granddaughter has a smaller lot (maybe 10 acres) in Litchfield with a smaller mountain range out back. She loves it. Beautiful country living, at its best!

Nice. I used to drive up either Route 14 or Route 15 to get to the Finger Lakes when I lived in PA.

Im about 20mins from mansfield...take me a hair over an hour to be at waneta or 90mins to launch on keuka at penn yan

My parents lived on Keuka Lake for 20 years. About a half mile south from Camp Cory on the east side. They moved last year however. Keuka and Canandaigua are the nicest of the Finger Lakes in my opinion.
