Wait, you mean a Porsche 933 Triptronic isn't worth more then a manual? Shifting gears is for peasants.
Pretty sure 993 values are all over the place based on mileage/condition and no so much tranny. Seems to be the only auto car worth anything from that era besides the NSX

Part of the problem is they have too many products across their product line that compete with each other.

In regards to the Camaro, the mid cycle refresh in 19 was ****ing atrocious. I cannot believe someone actually showed their bosses that and they said yup, looks good to me. The updated look in response to the complaints and slumping sales the next year was just as bad.

All their money and brains went into the Corvette. The Silverado and Camaro were given to the Gary Busey division.

All things equal, Manual fetches way more.

I'm picking on the 993 because I remember people thinking the Triptronic was worth the premium and sure to be the more desirable car.

Hagerty states a 15% increase in value for a 993 manual over the tiptronic.

the ford raptor has answers for you.

Yeah but I can't hear them over the high pitched wheezing exhaust.

Yep, kind of like all manual tranny cars that can't be bought anymore.

Bingo look at the prices of gated F-cars vs F1 trans, you can almost buy 2 F1's for the price of a gated car.

There is no worse engine trans combo than the tiptronic and the air cooled F6. Maybe the 928 and that Merc slushbox.

The problem with the Camaro is simple and it isn't the styling, though yeah wtf was up with the '19? The problem is 2 things. The periscope like sight lines and an interior that isn't any nicer than my '98 Z28 or '02 Trans Am. The interior is just vast expanses of bland cheap plastic. Even their Top line 2021 High Country trucks are still barely on par with my '19 Platinum, and that interior dates to 2015. Their multimedia graphics are cartoonish and 2004 Garmin like.
Whoever styles their interiors and rear ends should be hung.

I wonder what the future value will hold for the manual 997 GT3 RS, GT2 RS, Viper ACR, Viper TA, ZL1 1LE, GT350, GT500, Boss 302, all JDM area cars, etc.

The manufacturers are being forced to sell EVs even though they either lose money and/or sell in such low volume that it isn't profitable.

I also see 10 chargers/challengers to every 1 mustang by me. Maybe even more to every 1 camaro. They definitely did something right to shift the market.

Every time you turned on the goddamn TV their was a Dodge boy doing a burnout in a Challenger you could actually buy. This is the polar opposite approach that Ford Fuddy Duddy advertising took, which was to show ZERO Mustang commercials. But hey, we'll throw a cloverleaf youtube vid out of a car nobody can buy. It is amazing Ford sells as many Mustangs as it does, it's like corporate is embarrassed they actually make and sell them. Oh, and just to pour more salt on Mustang owners, when they finally show vehicles doing donuts on snow (****ing PC pussies) they are the Mustang EV and the EV truck. WHAT THE **** FORD!

I think the long iconic history of the mustang is what ford is riding on these days. I don’t think I’ve seen a Shelby commercial in the last two years

Clearly ford is doing something right because they are selling with no issues. Just saying.

Can't say that because we don't know the opportunity cost of not advertising that you actually make and sell such a car. And because we don't know that, we don't know what Ford decided NOT to make based on current volume.
