I’m still not 100% on the widebody train, but that’s forkin sexy.

My dad has a ‘17 R/T. It’s certainly not a bad looking car. This one though, I think it’s what I’d choose if I suddenly hated Mustangs.

I think i would take that challenger as well. Sick car. Congrats.

Would be nice if dealerships were like carmax. No haggle/bs. Price is what it is. No pressure salesmen. I think tesla is like that as well? I know Saturn was.

I wish dealers were like Carmax too. Carmax makes an additional 8-11% per vehicle sold than franchise dealers. haha

with the boss 302 I was looking at.. I asked him for a price .. he goes “ what price were you given “

I go .. no. Tell me a price.... he couldn’t come up with one. So I go online and get their internet price. Tell him that price.. and it’s all “ whoa where did you get that number from “

Mind you this is after 6 hours. like come the **** on.. after 6 hours you couldn’t get a price ?
its also pretty sad when you have to educate salesmen on what is on their websites for pricing promotions.

But you've gotta know going in that those internet prices always include a combination of every single price incentive/promotion they've got going on; a combo that not any one person can qualify for everything.

The internet price is the "get you in the door" price

Some dealerships make me so mad it makes my blood boil.

I have a buddy right now who is trying to buy a Kia (he isn't a car guy), found one local that was exactly what he was looking for, found like 2 or 3 others that were pretty close to the same but different colors. He contacted the dealerships, they were all right around the same price. He finally went into one last night and they won't honor the price on their website.

The website very specifically states the sales price INCLUDES dealer handling fees, but they said that's not correct and the handling fee is $699 and needs to be added onto the price.

I told him to walk, I've dealt with that dealership before on their Ford side and they are absolute snakes. I know $700 might not be a big deal but it's an obvious scam that a lot of people probably end up paying just to be done with it.

@Steve@TF Nice car, Ive been to that dealer a few times, my biggest pet peeves of all is when dealers install front lic. plate and drill the front bumper, I have no clue why some dealers choose to do this, i have even seen this done on a gt500! OMG that is a easy way to loose customers, i will not touch a car where the front bumper has been drilled. @13COBRA Nick, why do some dealer do this? mayby I'm just being picky and most customers don't mind?

Car Max pays pretty shitty for their used cars therefore more room for margin. I've had 2 cars appraised there and the offers were stupid low - thats comparing them to the local Ford dealer's trade in offer

same with Carvana. They said $13k for my Shelby haha

Depends on the vehicle.

I sold my 2013 Raptor to carvana a few months back with 96,000 miles on it and they gave me $32,400

to put it in perspective, a year earlier when it only had 75,000 miles the going rate for trade/ personal sale was right about $27-28,000

needless to say I jumped at their offer. Even if I factor in what I lost in sales tax credit, I still figured I came out ahead by $3000

you are a fool if you dont read the fine print. Im legit talking getting a price in person higher than advertised online. Accounting for all the bs. Obviously they are targeting those who dont think and feel they will get a brand new car for under $200 a month. I honestly feel they play dumb hoping to get someone not keen on the deals offered.

just a guess, but they may have to do it in states that require a front plate
