Nope I have none and it was a moral call for me. Since I am a brittle diabetic had blood sugar readings as high as 1250 and as low as 15. I got it from both sides of the family so I made the call to not allow anyone else to go through with this as it will finally die with me and not go and live on through another generation.

Not trying to be a moralist here, but maybe think about mentoring with the Boys and Girls Club, or Big Brother Big Sisters. Im sure it would genuinely and positively effect the life of kids who dont have that opportunity with a Dad for whatever reason.

I have a little girl that's almost 3, I never wanted kids and I still personally don't like kids lol, but I can't imagine life without my daughter, she's a lot to deal with at this age, but I love coming home to her and i can't wait to watch grow up.

I have a 4 year old boy. He is my world. I really lucked out because I know a number of people struggling with similarly aged kids. I pray to God my ex wife doesn't screw him up.

Ultimately your kids are a reflection of you but I see how unhappy some of my friends are. How your kids turn out or how much joy they bring into your life is 1,000x up to you so your happiness as a parent is in your hands.

As far as politics goes; again, you're in control here.

The wife and I have 3, a girl (9) and two boys (5&3). Full time job to say the least but we wouldn't have it any other way. Keeping radicalism at bay is hard even at their current age. We try to keep a close eye on the content they see. For example my daughter is not allowed to watch normal utube, only utube kids. Imagine my rage when a My Little Pony episode stopped to play a Jon Ossoff ad. On utube kids!!!! I believe no political interest of any kind should be on a kids channel. But that's just how it is now. We decided give homeschooling a try when my daughter was of school age. It has been a great choice for us. But the local school treats her like a parasite when she has to do her routine testing. Makes me sick. She always tests ahead of the "projected" level. But they look at her as a outsider. Not the kids, the teachers...

I have many many many regrets and being a father is one of the most difficult things I've taken on in my life (next to being a husband) but when i count all the things that i could change about my life having these two knuckleheads is not among them.
Please teach them to honor any bets they make

We have two children and the biggest thing I regret is not having them sooner. I just hope I grow old enough to see them have children. We pulled our kids out of the government schools due to what we saw during my sons first year of school, there was no way I was sending our daughter to the public schools. We home school now and the kids love it, we adjusted our lifestyle to accommodate this and I am just fine with it. We need more responsible people having kids in this world to counterbalance the morons reproducing or we will wind up like the movie Idiocracy.

I have a daughter. 13yrs old.

something happened when she was around 1yr old.
No doctor has been able to figure it out.

She’s in a wheel chair. Feeding tube in her stomach. Can’t talk. Can’t move.

That’s it.

Damn man, I’m really sorry. I have a 43 year old cousin who’s mentally handicapped and know how much of a struggle it can be but I can’t imagine what you have to deal with.

Yep lol. We have two dogs cats and horses. I feel like they’re our children.

It’s nice to know that many of you all are parents first and regardless of the shit we disagree on second. Sometimes we all have to realize we’re all human beings first and foremost.

I have a daughter who just turned 5. Yes, having her is totally worth it! Yes, there will be monetary sacrifices. You won’t be able to afford all the toys you want after having one. But, you’ll never be able to put a price on seeing your child for the first time or the joy your kid gets when seeing you get home from work. Having a kid allows you to see and experience what innocence and purity are.

Yes, the world is crazy. However, through school and play dates you’ll find other parents who have the same values your family does. It helps knowing there are other families out there “like” yours.

I’m 38, wife 31. Our son is almost 4 months old now.

I never wanted kids, and she didn’t for the most part, but she got to that age when Mother Nature was nudging her. We had some very long discussions about raising a child in the world today. We knew we could do it. So we planned, got pregnant, then Covid hit. Wife lost her high paying job, plus pregnancy stress...it was tough labor and delivery as well..but we made it. We’ve had to make some financial adjustments, but it’s working out so far.

Having a baby/child is tiring...lack of sleep is rough, but to see my son smile and laugh and hold onto me is an amazing experience. I never understood the feeling until now.

With that said, we are “one and done.” No more after this. In 2 months I’m taking the steps to make sure we don’t have anymore. Snip, snip!
