Getting a set of black chrome wheels for my 2001 cobra. Anyone have experience with these wheels? Do they ride different than stock inhibit or help performance etc...any input is greatly appreciated thanks.

I love them on my 01 cobra. They handle well and no weird noises.

They handle well and no weird noises!!!???? What!!? how does a wheel handle well and have no weird noise? are you talking about the tires and suspension? to each his own and I can appreciate that but im not a fan of flat 5 spoke wheels, they remind me of the flat 5 spoke wheel i had on a dune buggy many years ago.

The rovos are concave design more on the back rim than the front. I agree though flat 5 spokes are ugly as hail.

Fireball I was this answering the questions asked.I know wheels don’t make funny noises and I understand how cars work. These wheels are gloss gunmetal. I would’ve got the satin silver wheels however I got this whole set bnib for 450.00

Finally got the wheels in today and they sent me gloss black which looks great even though I ordered black chrome i think ill keep em. When you put your wheels on your car did you need a wheel spacer? I’ve seen the sve looking rovos suggest a 3mm spacer due to center caps popping out.

Off topic, but where do all the cobras hang out in Tampa? I never see any out.
I don’t know I never see any cobras out in the Pittsburgh area either. Maybe because of their rarity and people like me only drive mine 3-5months out of the year.

I’m not big into cars shows but, I’m in mustang club of Tampa. I’d rather be in a smaller group with just cobras to be honest.

There are a few in the area. I'm grew up around Pittsburgh and spent some time north of it (erie). Like you said, I think its the weather that keeps them from being seen so often.. Cleveland has a TON of terminators around.

Same with me. I just like to cruise with a group. I joined the Tampa group on facebook but I haven't been out to see anyone yet. I went to one of their car shows and I only saw one new edge cobra (black 03 terminator).

Getting the three piece center caps for my gloss black rovos gonna paint the R white and the outer ring that holds the pieces together. These wheels are going on a white cobra and should look freakin nasty can’t wait.

Got the rovos on the other day and it totally transformed the look of the car It also feels like the steering response increased some. I did notice the Speedo is of by 2 mph shows 50 and im actually at 52. Other than that and the fouled up knuckle and irs bushings it’s all good. Full tilt boogie irs bushing kit here we come.
