Update: made this morning to the rental. Took some time to get prep down so day got hot and humid. DA around +1800ft. 3 runs. Didn’t get transbrake installed so still on the footbrake.

thanks. Will try to go quicker. Right now I have a lowering trend in airflow (hz and load) and boost after 7300 in 2nd, 3rd and worst 4th. Gotta get that corrected and I’ll be back out.

What do you rev it too? Dont need an air flow loss up there. Restriction somewhere? Belt slip?

7700-7750. Although it could potentially be belt, I have my doubts because it seems to worsen as you go faster, so worse in 3rd than in 2nd and worse in 4th than 3rd. I think it’s a restriction. Boost crossing the line was down to 9.8-10psi in one of the passes.

Technically belt slip would be worse in lower gears where car is accelerating quicker also after the shift the boost come back up, rises til about 7300 then starts dropping again.

seems right, but;

The faster you are going the more HP it takes to maintain (and increase!) speed. The load on the belt becomes exponential id imagine.

Any belt dust you can see?

nothing excessive. Just never seen boost drop on this setup. And it’s not like it’s even at max rpm.
