My shop is really just two 30' x 30's put together with a huge hole cut in the shared wall. The rear shop has two 10' x 7' doors that I would like to convert to roll-ups for future lift clearance, has anybody done that conversion before that can share what it costs?

I cant quite tell from the pic, but are they "normal" over head roll up doors? If yes, what might be less expensive than a new roll up, is changing to a side drive motor, and re routing the door track up high enough to get the door up out of your way. Looks like you have a few feet to go up before the truss.

Yes they are normal doors, that's a good idea.

I like that Husky black cabinet. That's something I'd like to have in my garage. What depth did you go with?

It’s 18” deep, had a small dent on the side and a few side scratches so I got it for $150 instead of the $350 on the website. Can’t see any of it with the safe next to it!

I would definitely look into your options to make the doors open up closer to the ceiling. Rollup doors are a pain in the ass in my opinion (but that may be influenced by the ginormous ones we have at work where morons hit them and they dont roll correctly and are damned heavy due to their size). If you do go that route seems Over Head Garage door has you by the balls if you use them - can only get parts through them, not sure what other options are out there.

A bit embarrassing since it is a complete mess but I just moved into my new house not too long ago and here is what I have currently.

I like your hydraulic shelf

LOL, at the moment thats all its good for. Once the EFI is done on the 85 all that stuff will be cleared off, I need to declutter and get rid of things that are not necessary at all.

once the car is together again it should be a 3 car garage utilizing the lift and still have work space.

I just made room for the new addition. These garages in new homes are way too small. Don’t mind the dust, they are building the house next to us and the wind blows their dust into the garage. She’s all clean now.
