Economic feasibility?

Are you naive enough to think the GOV and funding is anything but a mirage?

I don't understand what's hard to understand about that... Do you not get how things are funded? Do you think humanity also has no interest in pushing science to the limit?
Why do they bother sending rovers to Mars? Why did they send a lander to Titan? Why did they send a lander to Venus? What was the point in the Voyager probes?

The biggest giveaway to me on the Moon Landing was the lack of dust and a HUGE CRATER from the Lander's retro rockets....yet when Armstrong took his first walk it was like he was walking in FLOUR.........I called BS right then!!

Why would there be a "HUGE" crater? Rocket engines do not shoot a directed blast like they do in an atmosphere, that blast fans out very wide, coupled with far less gravity it wouldnt have to make a "huge crater." test vehicles on earth don't even leave huge craters with several times the forces.

And, on landing there was a huge amount of dust, but again. In a Vacuum there's nothing to hold that dust suspended in the air, it will immediately fall back down.

Gotta say... the eagle lander is looking like tinfoil, popsicle sticks and ducktape.

Cutting edge 60s tech.

I don't understand why people think that there needs to be a crater from the lander.

Is the lander coming in at such a high speed that it needs to disrupt the ground underneath it? You think that they are crash landing on the moon or something? No, you land as gingerly as possible.

The high powered cameras attached to orbiting probes rarely have the resolution to capture any detail on the ground, nevermind your tiny little camera that would not see a football stadium...

Nevertheless there are images of the landing site from modern probes, even the chinese have said they have seen the evidence.
